You think something could happen tonight?

considering there's only 15 hours to go... yeah.

I'm expecting a deal right at the 3pm deadline. but, I hope it happens sometime in the next hour or so.

Dwight said he would opt-in when Eyriq made the thread... now he says he won't when you made the thread... JINX! :D

TOLD YOU!!!!

Dalic was joking Nyce_1, no offense

Eyriq, shouldve been you, man.

 Anyone else feel this way? Sorry bud.

Nope. jinxes aren't real.

viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1168515&start=90

You could argue this whole franchise has been a jinx long before i made these speculation threads (grant hill, shaq leaving, t-mac, losing seasons, bad trades/drafts, etc). let's get real... eh... i'm too huge of a magic fan to be called that by my fellow magic fan/peers... i kind of take it personal... let's be honest... if eyriq had made this thread, the news would have been the same... that jinx stuff isn't real, come on... i've been working hard on these threads for you guys.

But whatever I guess.

Edit* btw, eyriq made Part 9... there was a lot of bad news in there... OOPS.

Okay you say this, but how many centers in the leagure currently are better than Bynum? 1? What are the odds we draft a better center? They are too slim. Look, Bynum's a 1 year gamble, if he doesn't turn out to be the franchise player we want, don't resign him. But it looks like he can be if he is given the chance. Otherwise, go ahead with your full fledge re-build, I mean hey, whats 15 years vs. 17 years when comparing the time it would take to get back into contention.

And while I despise the Lakers, what makes the Nets any bit better. They went and courted our player while under contract, its the same damn thing the Lakers did.

If the trade is with the Nets we need to take every pick they have available to trade. Everyone keeps saying they are trash picks, but they are also tradable assets. Anything can happen and one of those picks might turn into something. Dwight being traded there is the first step, the nets still have to deal with Deron and Dwight being free agents and on a gutted team.

Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

You know what, you are right. It probably is in the Magic's best interest to move him for Bynum. But, it is also the Magic bending over and taking it like every other dumb NBA team too stupid to stand up to an obviously rigged league.

Same guy (Dwight) who JUST said last night that he wants to stay for the rest of the year because "this team can contend for a title". Maybe you should stop bricking every free throw you shoot, Dwight. That's all the "help" we need.

he needs to stop talking and sign then. All the organization is asking for is a ONE YEAR commitment.

I wonder if Dwight understands how trades work. Videogames have come a long way, but this isn't NBA 2k12.

Which isn't me saying Otis is great. No, he sucks. But Dwight really seems to think we can just trade our trash for treasure.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

It's hard to believe at this point. If he stayed even one more year, we'd be able to sign his buddy Josh Smith and Monte Ellis in summer 2013 when they're free agents.
