Sources just told me Billy King and Otis Smith are going to sleep, therefor the rest of the forum should as well.

Yeh, but I think everyone (not just us but national media) understandds the differences in the situations. NOH were never going anywhere, they were nowhere near as successful as we have been/are. They also had an ownership that wasn't willing to spend any money and was looking to sell. They have a crappy arena. Etc etc etc. The Dwight situation is very different. When has a player ever requested a trade when they were a top 5 team in the league? We aren't exactly bottom-barrel scrapers here...

essentially nothing has changed since forever, but people loose sight of things.

neither LA nor jersey deal is even slightly better than letting Dwight walk. The pieces will not help Orlando to content for the east no matter what.

there is no point in wrapping up the season right now. If Dwight walks, he walks. It is not the point. Any action Orlando takes will not be relevant in the grand scheme of things.

thinking of trading Dwight out of spite or out of revenge or out of frustration would be a very weak move. It does not bode well with the fans of a great franchise with championship inspirations.

I don't think the 24writer tweets are fake. His bio says he is a credentialed reporter in San Antonio, and lists who he writes for. We will see though.
Woj is the new Bucher. Shams is the new Woj. Espn is the new TMZ. The NBA is the new WWE.

I disagree, Bynum would leave us in the same position we're in with Dwight (not his contract situtation, the way the team is playing) IMO. I don't have facts or anything, it's JMO.

I completely understand why Otis and Stan are thru with Dwight's bull. One day he wants to win a championship here and ready to opt in...next he's wanting to play the field. I don't blame Otis and Stan. This needs to end. His comments tonight are asinine.

Bro you have to look at the future of the franchise. If Dwight walks we get NOTHING and we are left with bad contracts. We won't be contending in forever. Granted even if we trade him we won't be contending for a really long time but there is a difference. We can't let him just walk out on us based on some bull "roll the dice" crap. I was on board initially with rolling the dice but I realized we have to cut our losses and sending our terrible contracts is the best way to jump start our rebuild.

Just like how the D-Will trade went down. Billy King seems to be hush hush when it comes to trades. I was at the Nets game Monday vs Milwaukee and I actually spoke to one of the Nets beat writers. He basically told me......nothing. The Nets are not leaking ANY information and keeping this very secret. He honestly has no idea whats going on either.

seriously.. I don't give a damn how cordial you are being, get the hell out of here..
