From D12: "I told the ownership I want to stick it out and go from here. They know how I feel. They know how I feel about the city."

"I've talked about what we can do together. But I can't do it all by myself. You know, I want them to (ownership)."

D12 (3 of 3) "I want to be involved with changing Orlando. That's always been my goal. If it doesn't happen, I don't know what to do."

This was probably posted, but I never saw part III.

What's interesting to me is if you took out the whole "New Jersey" thing(admittedly impossible to do), this would be whatever Magic fan has been hoping to hear. Context is everything.

I still say you don't trade a once in a life time talent, but I am obviously in the minority on that.

The ownership and front office had to do what's best for this franchise... maybe take feelings out of the equation, as bad as that sounds... they have to. :-/

Like I said, I think ownership agrees Dwight is somewhat sincere, but I think they also realize he isn't making his own decisions. So they worry that when decision time comes this summer, he won't have the balls to ignore his agent's request to move to Brooklyn and stay with the Magic. If I were ownership I wouldn't think that would change either. Especially not with the recent events of claiming to opt-in and then not. A tiger can't change its stripes. He isn't man enough to make his own decisions, never has been, prob never will be. I think ownership realizes that. I think if this were Kobe or somebody similar, that they would be more willing to take that risk.

You're missing the point. Dwight can't make that decision, cuz Dan Fegan isn't telling Dwight to fire Dan Fegan ;)

What's funny is that... we had Ellis on the table, if Dwight would've just opted in... he had his HELP right there... his other superstar (his robin to his batman) RIGHT THERE... so frustrating.

Plus, after next season we would have even more options for help... smh.

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏ @WojYahooNBA
Teams trying to get packages together for Dwight Howard are frustrated with tight window. As Western exec. says, "Just not enough time."

We'll know by 3 tomorrow.

Unfortunately, it'll probably be the Nets.
