Hedo/Duhon/1st for Beasley/Darko

gives us a more potent scoring sf and backup C - Gives Min another sf to handle the ball, a backup pg, and a first round pick

Jrich for E.Bledsoe gives us a backup young pg gives LAC the big sg they need after losing Billups

Portland sucks. What do you think it takes to get Wallace. We have to have some kind of deal being worked.

Wing defender / slasher. I'd love to move JRich and Hedo for a cutter with some mid range (basically Rudy Gay, which obviously won't be happening).

Or just JSmoove. That would be fine too.

I don't understand why they just didn't give teams the ability to extend there own players the bird-right max FA length at any point... wouldn't that take away the "its smarter if I opt out" stuff?

I know they were trying to rid of it, did they abolish player options on non rookie contracts?

The Magic then lost to the Spurs 122-111 in San Antonio, and after the team plane landed in Orlando, Howard once again told team officials he wanted to sign the ETO waiver, which also must be signed by Fegan to be binding in the eyes of the Magic and the NBA, a person familiar with the situation told CBSSports.com Thursday. Fegan has not commented publicly beyond a statement provided to hand-picked media outlets Wednesday night was not believed to be joining Howard Thursday for his meeting with Magic officials.

“Good thing he didn’t go to college,” a team official texted about Howard Thursday morning. “He would have never been able to pick a school.”

One of two things happens: Fegan signs the waiver and faxes it, or Dwight fires Fegan and signs as his own agent. Either way, I have to believe at this point it's getting signed.

Any other result would injure Dwight's image and persona so badly he could forget about all those endorsement deals down the line. Heck, major sponsors will already be wondering if they want to align with him after this.

RealGM reigns supreme.
