Are you kidding? We're sucking wind trying to jettison our current salary cap albatrosses (Diop, Carroll, Diaw, and still paying for others - Okafor, etc,) Why would we want to take on all new ones?

How many forwards do they have now?

And Barbosa to Indiana for a 2nd rounder.

David Aldridge ‏ @daldridgetnt
Source confirms @SpearsNBAYahoo report that Pacers will acquire Leandro Barbosa from Toronto. Source says Raptors will get a second-rounder.

Nice move by the Pacers.

@WojYahooNBA - Several contenders chasing Ray Allen. Some offering a good young player, some offering 1st round pick. If Celts get both, they may move him.

LOL at some Raps posters on their board hoping they would be getting either Hibbert or George back in the trade!!

He's paid more than Carroll over the next to years, and people seem to be begging to lose his contract around here.

People are begging to lose Carroll's contract because he blows and doesn't produce at all. Farmar does.

$4 million for 11 and 3 (in 21 minutes) is great value

DJ is averaging 12 and 6 (in 30 minutes) and wants $7 million

You don't just pay for numbers. But if you want to play that game, well Maggette sure scores a lot of points!

There are teams over the LT. I'm sure the Raps are positioning to take on extra $$$$ to help those teams out and the cost of draft picks.

Anything coming from our Bobcats?

Man, our organization is pretty good at not letting anything leak. Usually, we don't know about players being traded until the fact... Either that or no one cares about the bobcats.

@WojYahooNBA - Several teams inquiring on Charlotte point guard D.J. Augustine, league sources say. Bobcats are listening

I don't blame him, the guy is working his ass off, but I think it's funny that even Wojnarowski adds an 'e' to Augustin's name. Nevertheless, I hope this results in some sort of bidding war.

So this is part of a two part trade where Dwight gets sent to Charlotte for Tyrus, DeSagana, and Matt right?

I wonder what teams are interested. I would think that we could get something decent for him. Just my personal view, but we might as well trade DJ now. If several teams are interested now, I'm sure several will be more than happy to over him more than the QO this summer. IN that scenario I highly doubt we match and therefore we loose him for nothing. Get value for him now!

I think some of these things still hinge on Howard's "decision". Supposedly the Magic are still waiting on him to arrive and meet.

Funny tweet from Sean Grande:
It's like the entire NBA is lined up behind Dwight at the store while he's frozen on "paper or plastic". And everyone's double-parked

I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Such an exciting time of year.

Rick Bonnell ‏ @rick_bonnell
3 hours and counting to trade deadline. From what I hear, #Bobcats gauging what they can get for D.J., after he turned down extension..

Rick Bonnell ‏ @rick_bonnell
Combination of no extension (from weeks ago) and similarity to Kemba Walker has team at least listening on Augustin.

I'd like either a first rounder in return or the team we are trading him to allow us to package one of our horrific contracts with Augustin.
