Faried is Chris Anderson's backup, not a starting center. Dude would get killed against Bynum or Gasol.

For the record I still think Ernie should be fired. He's the guy who drafted the players like Young, McGee, and Vesely and paid Blatche.

Agree with Miller, I like it. What we needed was a defensive center that can score well.

Now, we need to have a good draft and aim for 7/8 seed next year

Contracts dont matter anymore because of the Amnesty. If he's healthy then he's a beast that heads us in the right direction. If he's not healthy then we use the Amnesty and all we lost was 2 guys we dont want anyways. All this means is that Dray will be sticking around which all of you will hate but if he's in shape then him & Nene would be a great duo if we dont get Davis

They've got Koufas and Mozgov at C, who are both decent, young players. The thought of having a leader at PG like Lawson, along with speedy dudes like Gallinari, Faried, and McGee is just scary.

People look at Hilario and see the name, but they fail to consider the guy's not that good for the money he makes.

This is another Rip/Jerry Stackhouse day. Everybody is so happy to get rid of Javale. I swear I HATE being a fan of this team.

I will say this, if George Karl can't coach McGee up, he's a lost cause. Time will tell what happens.

I'd rather have Nene than Bogut or Kaman though.

Can't use the amnesty on Nene. He wasn't on the team before the lockout.

Dunno how to feel. I have always liked Nene but his injuries and age is getting up there. On the flip side he has basketball IQ and we know what he can do... I would have prefered to find a young C prospect but meh, with Blatche being amnstyed and Rashard bought out... we still have flexibility

I'm glad we got something for Nick.

Not a fan of this deal. Nene turns 30 this year, and McGee's number's aren't very far from his while being 5 years younger. And he's getting paid 13M.
