Maybe he'll end up coaching the Blazers, Clippers, Hornets, Bobcats, whatever. Owners and GMs love exciting basketball, he'll find a new home somewhere. I think this time around, however, he'll want more control over team construction as Melo basically doesn't fit his system all that well.
His brand of basketball does put butts in the seats can't deny that.

Again, you need talent to play defense. We had Marion, KT and Raja to help out during those years. Right now, all we have is Grant Hill. Grant Hill!! Not even Popavich can make this team to play respectable defense.

I don't hate the guy. I don't know about others but I truly believe that we wouldn't gone as far as we did in the 04-05 and 05-06 post season without his coaching. I thank him for reinventing the exciting brand of basketball. I admire his strength in coaching his players. But at the same time, he is also a quitter. When things don't go his way, he get out of the 'mess' quicker than anybody could. Happened in Phoenix, and now in NY. I respect him for not milking the money though, nice guy and all, but he is a quitter.
