I don't get why some think keeping cap room means aiming for a significant FA. And why that would be a good idea. Staying put can bring much more than what was rumoured to be on table.

What a joke! And now rumors have it that Silas is gone. Whats that 4 coachs?
We better get the right players here quick or Charlotte may lose an NBA franchise for a second time?

My point is we have made so many bad decisions ,the fan base is getting tied of it. Okafore and Raymond and GW all were keepers. Brook Lopez(not DJA) and Danny Grangier ( not Sean May) and Rudy Gay (not Adam Morrission)should have all been playing for us now.

Seriously this is no knock on you but what exactly are Okafor,Wallace & Felton keepers for? The eighth seed?
We can look back and say what we did wrong but that won't help anything in the present and having a revisionist history memory will only make us depressed.
I support the Charlotte Bobcats, the entity itself not just any individual players, it's hard enough when other people ask us to justify our existence let alone our own fans. NEWSFLASH....Having the eighth seed every year will not justify our existence at all.
I'm with Slam,Fats,Crunk,Doc and Sach and the rest of the optimists that we have a plan and we can't deviate from it and we sure as hell are better off making no trades than the wrong trades.
Rich Cho is a bloody good GM and he has done wonders in the short time he's been here, he's an expert and as much as we think otherwise we don't know better than him so we need to let him do his job.
We are not trying to be a treadmill team, we are building a contender and that takes time, patience and understanding.
We are past the point of flinging sh*t at a wall at hoping it sticks.
Charlotte will not lose their team again, NC is the real spiritual home of basketball.
Also had we picked Granger at 13 we wouldn't have sucked enough to get Lopez or Gay.
As for the caproom its real importance is the flexibility it offers us not the possibility of top-tier FA's who would not come here unless we are a top contender.
