Worried about the offense...

Sorry but the last two seasons, the Yanks stalling offense has been more problematic than its pitching. This season I see no change as every one is a year older and their best bat traded for a young pitcher, the Yankees hope will eventually pay off.

But having the best stuff doesn't always translate to success in NYC. There is a graveyard of failed projects as well.

Feel like an aging team stockpiled their bench with...even older players.

Which brings me to my question, what assets should the Yanks part to add a bat and to what position?

Well the good thing is that if Petitte is able to go the Yanks will definitely have a surplus of starters that they can probably deal for something good.

Honestly Justin Maxwell looks better than Ibanez. Might as well give him a shot. Big, athletic young(ish) guy. HItting .400 I think so far in spring training. Unlike Ibanez he can actually also play the field.

But yeah, please anyone else but Ibanez.

Yeah not unless Washington is willing to pay 90% of that contract or include Bryce Harper. :lol:
