There is actually a small chance that Brian Cook helps us. He's a Steve Novak type of stretch 4 who plays no defense but can hit 3's. He's been terrible this year in a small sample size (121 minutes) but last year he looked like a reasonably competent end-of-bencher. He played 447 minutes, posted a PER of 11.7, and shot 43% from 3-point range.

With our team so desperate for outside shooting, I could see Cook utilized in a small lineup in end of quarter sets where we need to spread the floor.

no way. Ill kill someone if he steals minutes away from Book, JV, and Seraphin.

I would add my boy Blatche in that mix because I still have faith but I wont for fear of being assaulted

two truths:

1. We need ping pong balls
2. Cook needs to start
In Rizzo we trust

I heard that he might workout a buyout with us. If that happens, then we truly gave up Young for nothing. C'mon Ernie, at least get a 2nd rounder from THIS year.

I like the headline potential: "Cook can't stand Heat" "Cook roasts Hawks" etc

Already close to passing Mike Bibby on the all-time franchise list in several major categories.
