Is Lopez playing well hurting Gortat's confidence? Perhaps Gortat feels threatened by Lopez getting much of the playing time in crunch time...I hope Gortat realizes that Lopez is only playing well because he has a pay day coming up....Robin did this last time he was due for a new contract too....then once we gave it to him he just completely sucked.

March 8th last time with a double double against the Mavs with 16/12. But March 10th he was pretty close with 15/9 and against the Jazz on 14th he has 25 points but only 5 rebounds.;)

Well I hope Gortat gets his **** together by the Orlando game cause we cant have him getting killed by Howard like last year.

Plus I really want to see Gortat doing well in Orlando, making their fans hate that trade even more.

Gortat played pretty good against Dwight last year.

Is it possible Nash is not shooting as much to keep his energy through the season?? I wouldn't mind at all as long as we win.

As long as he dishes out 12+ assists I dont mind how he shoots.

Wow. First, Gortat has had a couple mediocre games, one without Nash and having to rely on Telfail to get him the ball... Overreactive much?

And B, what the hell contract are you thinking about? Lopez is still on his rookie deal. He hasn't gotten any new contracts since he started in the league.

I don't think we gave him a new contract. Didn't we just pick up his option?

Come on sunsfan88, you need to get your facts straight. -_- to elaborate on what others pointed out

sunsfan88 wrote:Anyone know whats wrong with Gortat? This guy used to be a double double machine and now I cant even remember the last time he had a good double double.

1. He's had two bad games
2. Ten days, five games? That's not a long time at all
3. He's still averaging 14.4/5.8 on 59% shooting since the last time you can remember his double-double (March 10th)...admittingly that's pretty low rebounding #s for Gortat though
4. Channings been averaging about 8 rebounds over the past game...Jared dudley 6 and half...Which is 4 rpg combined above their season averages. Gortat can't grab all the boards!

Robin did this last time he was due for a new contract too....then once we gave it to him he just completely sucked.

you realize he's only been in the league since 2008 right? he's still on his rookie contract.

Well I hope Gortat gets his **** together by the Orlando game cause we cant have him getting killed by Howard like last year.

But he did pretty good...considering he wasnt a starter yet

12 pts 4 rebounds 1 block on 67% shooting
