My first Game thread of the Year!

Marc Gasol is the most underrated player in the NBA. LOVE his game. Memphis is the team NO ONE wants to play in the playoffs. Hope Seraphin continues his good play.

Are chances at winning this game are slim to none. I'm hoping John Wall plays efficiently and aggressively, like he did against the Hornets. Crawford needs to make shots and Sera/Book need to be crashing the boards and scoring on the post and in the p'n'r.

Slim to none, folks.

So Nick Young goes 1 for 6 in first game. Javale hasn't played yet. Wiz sign Edward Ubiles. And Brian Cook makes his debut tonight. Time to Tank.

I like Memphis a lot when Zach Randolph comes back. Could be #2 team in West.

Wiz playing some good defense so far. Just getting pushed around on the boards.

I'm not sure that Seraphin blocked that shot so much as he swallowed Mike Conley whole and spat out a basketball.

Ha! Seraphin with the veteran defensive "pull-the-rug" play.

He's gone from my most hated Wizards to one of my favorites. No more WTF's from him anymore, seemingly.

Seraphin playing good defense on Gasol. Just hit a nice mid range jumpshot 8-)

Seraphin is deep in Gasol's head already. first Gasol gets a tech then falls on his ass after KS pulls out the chair.

Big Kev struggles sometimes against PNR but they aren't running it. He's playing good positional defense. You don't have to be great shotblocker to use your body and not get backed down. It's nice to see us not get overwhelmed at the 5.
