honestly there's no SG outside of Gordon worth more than mle money. I don't know's going to be starting @ SG next season, but they'll most assuredly suck

Sadly true. The only other SGs I'd be interested in from Free Agency would be Mayo and Courtney Lee, but only for MLE type money.

Maybe Wes Matthews would be available in a trade since Portland has been blowing it up. The other realistic option is trying to package the protected picks and/or take on a bad contract or two and try to pick up someone like Terrence Ross in the draft; I doubt the Wolves are getting one of the top prospects easily.

I don't expect any of those things to happen though. I assume that we're more likely to see a cheap vet SG signed because the Wolves still need to "evaluate" Malcolm Lee and Ellington.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

i wonder if utah does make the playoffs(1/2 a game out) what we could get in terms of draft picks combining the utah pick(assume #16 overall) + memphis pick. it is my dream to get brad beal and i think he will be available somewhere between 8 and 12...i doubt the 2 picks would be enough to get up to the high side of that but i think it might get us in the ball park.

i'd also love ray allen but i doubt he wants to play for anyone but a contender. eric gordon, batum or ray allen...all highly unlikely but would go down a treat in the off chance.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
