Redd was AMAZING tonight. Dude reverted back to his All-star self tonight. Really hopes he keeps this up, could see him replacing Dudley in the starting 5.

I'm so happy this team is finally playing great. I didn't think that was possible after first week of the season. But Lopez got better, Brown/Telfair helping out a bit, Dudley is on fire lately, Frye hitting his shots, Gortat a double- double machine, Hill looking great too and Redd looking like his 2004 form. :D

If the Suns are serious about making a playoff run they need more than a rookie PF (Morris) content with the outside shot. I think a player like Turiaf would be a nice addition as a backup PF. Redd's emergence as a scorer has given the Suns a serious weapon. IMO, Morris is the weak link in the rotation.

I'm not hating on Morris, I think the kid can be good someday (unlike Warrick who I hate) but if we're trying to make the playoffs we don't have time to experiment or develop players we just need players who can help us compete right away.

Im like 99.7% sure Turiaf is going to be signing with Miami. They need a C and need one bad, so Ronnie will get plenty of minutes on a title contender.

I'd rather spend the money and open space going after TWill. :D

I think Suns use their bench more than Miami. Turiaf would automatically get backup PF mins and he's familiar with Phoenix's system cause he used to play with GSW who run the same thing.

And as for Terrence Williams, who do you think we should cut to get him? Who's minutes would he get?

Well, for one, Turiaf is way way better than Anthony, and Miami would be STARTING him! They were looking for a starting C before the trade deadline. So him STARTING in Miami would give him way more minutes than him being a 3rd string PF on the Suns.

As for Williams, its been said before (by me), we have 13 players under contract. NBA rules state that the maximum amount of players you can have signed is 15. No one would have to be cut. As for minutes, he would cut into Warricks/Browns. As playing time goes, Childress gets zero and Price gets zero. TWill is a SG/SF. Since Dudley has been starting, we have been using Warrick at SF, coming off the bench for Hill. We also give Dudley a few minutes at SF when we play Brown or Redd at SG. I'd rather give Williams a shot rather than Warrick/Brown.

Yea but I think the coaching staff is really high on Shannon Brown after his 25 pt game last week. I could be wrong and probably am.

Has there been any reports yet on which teams are looking at T-Will?

I kinda want the Suns to rest their starters on Tuesday...there's no way in hell we're beating Miami and we play against Orlando the next day, a much more winnable game so no need to tire ourselves out before imo

Something thats gonna go unnoticed tonight is that Grant Hill had just as many assists and fewer turnovers than Dragic.

Just thought it was worth mentioning.

Only reports i heard is that he is working out in LA. They made sure to clarify that he training there, not necessarily for the Clippers or Lakers. Laker fans were going ape sh*t as they thought working out IN LA and working out FOR LA were the same thing.

Minutes wouldn't be an issue for Williams...because he wouldn't play. There is a reason he doesn't currently have a team.

Lotta Redd love going on. Lets see this guy do it for a week or so before declaring him 'back' and promoting him to the starting 5, which, IMO, is not happening either way.

interesting little road trip tester coming up. We shouldnt sit anyone. Time to buck up boys.

indeed - good for Redd, tough road he's travelled but ... just one game. Need to see him score consistently and hs defense is stil lworrisome

bear in mind Marcus Banks once hit six threes in a game for us ....

is Banks deal up yet, finally? I hope he's been sending nice Christmas gifts to the D'antoni's the last five years
