Gerald Wallace's jersey number
Why did Gerald Wallace choose #45 as his jersey number when he has traditionally worn #3 ??

Re: Gerald Wallace's jersey number
It's the amount of money he's looking for in his new 4 year deal.

No, it's the number of months the Gerald Wallace trade set back the Nets franchise.

Where is rj2496 when I need him? This is exactly what I was talking about in the Billy King thread..... Granted he may not be a nets fan. He may just be a Morrow fan... But if he is then he should know why he wore #3 at the allstar weekend....

eh it shouldnt matter cant get mad at new fans or unaware fans. At this moment in time for the Nets to get any new fans it would have to be bandwagon fans at this point and i wouldnt even mind it that would mean our team is doing great.Aussie 2point0 wrote:Where is rj2496 when I need him? There's a lot of Nets fans, they're all just on NetsDaily telling me how Al Jefferson is a great efficient scorer and superb passer and why this trade was great cause there's only 3 players worth drafting this year.

I liked that one post comparing Wallace's acquisition to someone expecting a Benz and getting a Lexus instead.
I think what he meant is that it is more like expecting a Rolls Royce and instead getting a Corolla while paying for a sticker price of a Lexus.

Gerald Wallace's jersey number
On a side note, taking away the pick we've given up for him, Wallace played well yesterday. He's helping cover up our lack of size up front with pure strength.
If we had a legit big defensive presence with Wallace just help defending, he would be a very solid pick up.

Re: Gerald Wallace's jersey number
Wallace's play in a losing(tanking) game is neither here nor there for me..... I'm slowly getting over the stupidity of the lottery pick thing..... But the trade for him only makes sense if we are contenders looking for a SF blue collar worker to help out against LBJ and the likes..... Without a top 3 pick and the possibility of No D-12 & D-Will..... By the time we contend Wallace will have his seniors card
Probably the wrong thread but just my reaction to your post above.
