But since he's come up from the D-League, he's been playing great (markedly better than MarShon I might add).
On top of that, here are his latest comments regarding his contract status (from Fred Kerber):
But it takes two to sign on the dotted line and Green admitted the decision was mutual and predicted he’s be on the Nets next season – if the team wants him.
“Definitely mutual,” Green said of the veteran’s minimum deal for the rest of this season that came following a pair of 10-day contracts. “I’m not going anywhere and hopefully they don’t want me to go anywhere and I’ll be here.”
Green said the decision to limit his signing on Sunday for the final 20 games was done to aid the Nets’ “flexibility” for any moves this summer.
“Me being here is good. I think the team wants me here,” Green said. “Next year, I don’t think I’m going anywhere. I’m going to be here and I think we can definitely work something out. I wanted the team to have all the flexibility it could for what they want to do in the offseason so they’re fine with that. I’m not trying to go anywhere. So we’ll just finish out this season and see how it goes.”

The Nets better re-sign this dude. Both Humphries and now Green have given the Nets great play and have helped the organization by agreeing to deals that will help us remain flexible.
If King makes another "win-now" move and doesn't re-sign Green, I'll be very upset.
