wolves - jazz

Gold - Pekovic - Great performance, and the game tying hoop.

Silver - Luke, played so much better then Barea, had a nice game.

Bronze - Love - Hurt, but played okay for the most part. Missed ft's cost us.

Black - Barea, he was god awful.

For the Wolves/Lakers game:

Gold Bayno: Kevin Love - Finally had a good game against the Lakers. 27 points and 15 rebounds while playing moderate defense.

Silver Bayno: Luke Ridnour - He was a good facilitator throughout the game. Also scored 12 points, while grabbing 4 rebounds.

Bronze Bayno: Nikola Pekovic - He did end up with 20 points and grabbed 12 boards (7 offensively), but I felt he didn't have his way tonight. 6-18 shooting, but also managed to keep Bynum under control.

Black Bayno: Anthony Tolliver - As soon as this guy touched the court, he was cancer. Played awful defense and scored the same amount of points as I did. He did steal twice and grab five rebounds.

For the Wolves/Kings game:

Gold Bayno: Derrick Williams - He played a good game tonight. 16 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, and 0 turnovers. In fact, he was the only player, who played 10 minutes or more, that committed zero turnovers.

Silver Bayno: Anthony Randolph - His stats aren't gaudy, but he gave good effort in only 20 minutes. 10 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 assists.

Bronze Bayno: Kevin Love - With numbers like 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists, he would be higher on this list, but there's something more than just numbers. He looked largely ineffective the entire game and didn't step up when he needed to. He also comitted 4 turnovers.

Black Bayno: J.J. Barea - He threw away possessions with wild shots and couldn't keep a handle on Thomas. Whenever he checked into the game, the Kings went on a big run.

For the Wolves/Warriors game:

Gold Bayno: Kevin Love - Just another awesome night for Love. 36 points, 17 rebounds, and 2 assists. He also made some big shots in the 4th.

Silver Bayno: Anthony Tolliver - When was the last time he was on the positive side of this list? 10 points on 4-5 shooting (including two threes) and grabbed 5 rebounds in only 16 minutes of play. He finally had a good game.

Bronze Bayno: Luke Ridnour - Played a solid game tonight. 11 points, 10 assists, 3 rebounds, and a steal. I felt like he controlled the tempo for most of the game.

Black Bayno: Derrick Williams - Although he had 11 rebounds and blocked 3 shots, Williams just wasn't on his game. He forced shots up, missed an open layup, bad defensive effort, and committed 4 turnovers at costly times.

For the Wolves/Spurs game:

Gold Bayno: J.J. Barea - Had a pretty good game. 17 points, 11 assists, and 3 rebounds. Four turnovers is a bit too much though.

Silver Bayno: Anthony Tolliver - Two straight games that have been fantastic for Tolliver in a row here. What kind of world are we living in? 16 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 blocks.

Bronze Bayno: Wayne Ellington - Came in off the bench, scored 15 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block, and 3 steals. He gave some good energy throughout the game as well as shooting at a high clip. (7-11)

Black Bayno: Luke Ridnour - His worst game after the Rubio injury. Only 4 points, 1 assist, 1 rebound, and on the other hand played bad defense and committed two turnovers.

For the Wolves/Thunder game:

Gold Bayno: Kevin Love - 51 points and 14 rebounds, including some clutch shots in the 4th. No dispute here.

Silver Bayno: J.J. Barea - Truely incredible performance. 25 points, 14 assists, 10 rebounds, and 3 steals.

Bronze Bayno: Anthony Tolliver - Brought his absolute A game tonight. 23 points and 7 rebounds.

Black Bayno: Martell Webster - Was largely ineffective throughout the game. Only 4 points and 1 rebound meanwhile playing bad defense.

For the Wolves/Nuggets game:

Gold Bayno: Kevin Love - Another monster performance following his 51 point game last game. 30 points, 21 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 blocks, 2 steals, and 0 turnovers.

Silver Bayno: Luke Ridnour - A very solid game for Luke. 25 points ( on 9/14 shooting) and six assists.

Bronze Bayno: Wayne Ellington - Scored 17 points, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds. Gave good energy off the bench.

Black Bayno: Another day, another game Wes wears his invisible cape again. 5 points and 2 rebounds. He was the only player on the team who had a negative +/-

I agree with this.

For the Wolves/Grizzlies game:

Gold Bayno: Kevin Love - Continues his impressive run. 28 points, 11 rebounds 4 blocks, and 2 assists. He also went 4-8 from behind the arc.

Silver Bayno: Wayne Ellington - Shot well in the game (6-10 shooting) and knocked down a couple of threes. He ended up with 15 points, 2 rebounds, and a steal.

Bronze Bayno: Derrick Williams - A pretty good night from him, especially in the 2nd quarter. 14 points and 7 rebounds. I thought his defensive effort wasn't there though.

Black Bayno: Luke Ridnour - After a string of good games, he finally comes in with a bad one. 9 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds doesn't seem too bad of numbers, but he shot 4-13 and couldn't make the buckets that the team really needed.

For the Wolves/Bobcats game:

Gold Bayno: Kevin Love - It's just amazing how he can keep this up so conistantly. 40 points, 19 boards, and 4 assists.

Silver Bayno: Luke Ridnour - After a bad game, he comes back with an impressive display. 15 points, 14 assists, and 5 rebounds, as well as 2 steals and a block.

Bronze Bayno: Anthony Tolliver - Came in again with energy and a nice boost off the bench. 11 points and rebounds, and 2 assists. However, he did commit 4 turnovers.

Black Bayno: Wanye Ellington - Couldn't find his shot in this game. 0 points, 2 rebounds, and a steal.

Fun Fact: Wes Johnson had the highest +/- for both teams. Yes, that means he's higher than Kevin Love.

For the Wolves/Celtics game:

Gold Bayno: Luke Ridnour - Played another good game today. 15 points, 8 assists, and two rebounds. Not very deserving of a gold bayno considering he also committed 4 turnovers, but nobody else really stood out.

Silver Bayno: Kevin Love - After a stretch of great games, he was outplayed hard. While having 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists, he struggled to defend Garnett, leaving him wide open for his money shot at the top of the key time and time again. He also shot 5-18.

Bronze Bayno: Derrick Williams - At least he provided us with a couple dunks to keep us happy. He did have 14 points, 7 rebounds, and a steal, but 5 turnovers is way too much.

Black Bayno: Wayne Ellington - Back to back poor shooting games. In 25 minutes, he went 0-6 from the field, 0-4 from three, only two points, four rebounds, and two turnovers. That's not what you like to see from your shooting guard.

For the Wolves/Blazers game:

Gold Bayno: Luke Ridnour - He controlled the game very well, shot a high percentage, and got feisty stealing the ball. 21 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 block. Nice game.

Silver Bayno: Kevin Love - Although he put up some points, I felt his presence wasn't there. He was also outrebounded on the glass, but that may be because his teammates weren't boxing out. 26 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, and a steal.

Bronze Bayno: Derrick Williams - He played a pretty good game. 21 points and 6 rebounds. He did a bad job of boxing out for the rebound, letting his man get the offensive board often.

Black Bayno: Anthony Tolliver - Nobody stood out as a candidate for the black bayno, so I choose the master of trolling. Just 2 points and 3 rebounds.

If Wesley keeps this up we might have to rename the Black Bayno award in his honor.

For the Wolves/Warriors game:

Gold Bayno: Wayne Ellington - Some of you might place Love here, but Ellington proved his worth. 17 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal. Made several big shots to cut it close, but his teammates couldn't carry the rest. He might be the only player not outplayed in the 2nd half.

Silver Bayno: Kevin Love - He definetely put up numbers, 29 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 assists. However, David Lee considerably outplayed him. Lee made plays which won the game, but Love was cold when it really counted.

Bronze Bayno: Wes Johnson - Whenever you get 12 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals, and three blocks from Wes, it's a good game for him.

Black Bayno: J.J. Barea - If there was ever a player who deserved the black bayno, it was Barea tonight. The absolute reason we lost. 7 turnovers is as much as an entire team could muster. I'm not even mentioning the numerous times he threw away a possession with a ugly, contested shot. Not only that, but he simply could not keep a handle on Jenkins. That's pathetic.
