It's painfully obvious how desperate we are for a post presence right now. Jumpshot after jumpshot after missed layup after jumpshot after jumpshot. Yet Karl refuses to play any of our 7 footers, or even give McGee a chance. Our defense is terrible.

these lineups are idiotic. nobody can guard a player larger than themselves, so guards are forced to help. with a smart veteran team like mavs, manipulating that is foreplay.
kosta - 7 minutes
mozgov - 8 minutes
and nobody can make a damn layup.

How the F u c k does Karl play Al at center for almost 5 minutes at the end of the 3rd. There are FOUR 7 footers on the bench. How has he lasted in Denver so long?

I honestly think we're missing Kmart a lot.
The guy was a good 1on1 defender and was a leader on the defensive end. Now you see a bunch of guys outside Gallo who need help and ask for doubles.

absolutely disgusted with karl's rotations.
of the total 96 center minutes available, we played our only true centers for a total of 26.
it seemed to be the same thing on every defensive sequence; they throw it into their bigs, we double, they kick it out, and either they take the shot or throw it to the next open player.

I don't understand why Karl always opts to single cover DIRK even going back to their playoff series in 2008. It never made any sense to me. Nuggets should let the other role players try and beat them.

why are you so desperate to be pathetic?
Everyone has a right to be stupid. Some just abuse the privilege.

with Kmart, Nene, Melo, and Andersen all rotating onto dirk the one on one coverage made sense and worked well enough for the Nuggets to own the mavs for years. Now they just do not have the defenders to do any good.

He looked better than most of our other players did last night. He does not have much rust if any. Looks like we might be using him a lot more now that Gallinari is injured again.
