Time to sit Bell down! Even when not injured!

Post#1 » by Montanajazz » Tue Mar 20, 2012 4:29 pm

It's time for the jazz to sit Bell, even when not out injured. Miles or hayward should start at Shooting guard and Burkes should play 25 minutes a game.

Harris Miles Howard Millsap Jefferson
Watson/Tinsley Burkes Hayward Favors Kantor

Finish the year with all the youngsters getting quality playing time.

I like it when Burkes Hayward Millsap are on the floor at the end of games

I agree 100%.

However, it was time at the begining of the season... But Ty still started him.
... it was time when he threw a hissy fit at Ty on the road... But Ty STILL started him.
... it's time now...

Hopefully 3rd time's a charm!!

So Bell gets into it with Ty, gets sent home, magically rejoins team for last two games before the trade deadline, then after the deadline suddenly can't play because of a lingering injury.

Right. :blank:

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. We just need to get a group of guys in SLC to organize a "hit" on Raja Bell. How can we work together to break one of Raja's ankles/wrists and make it look like an accident?

I'm sure you could find someone to take him off the dribble...

I agree, 100%. I would probably start C.J. and then bring in Burks as the primary reserve. It doesn't really matter who starts or comes in off the bench if they both receive the same amount if minutes. Bell needs to be shut down and then either traded or released (through amnesty) at the end of the year. Raja gives the Jazz NOTHING that they are not getting from C.J. or Alec and both Miles and Burks are way younger than Bell. Maybe he can be forced into retirement?

Raja is great as a spot up shooter with a PG in Steve Nash's caliber...... Too bad we don't have one of those.....

To us, he's useless.....

Don't forget the precautionary MRI right before the trade deadline (to prove to prospective trade partners that he was healthy enough to play).

Are you serious? "great" LOL If he was "great", the Clippers or someone else would have taken him at the trade deadline. Bell USE to be a good shooter and defender. He was NEVER great at any part of his game. He should come off the bench with Miles in limited minutes. We need to start Hayward and Burks or Millsap at SF with Favors at PF.
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

This says more about Nash that it does Raja. Nash makes mediocre guys like Jared Dudley, Channing Frye and Marcin Gortat look really good.

Well he's shooting 48% from the field this year, and 40% from three...... Like it or not, those are excellent numbers for a 2 guard..... Doesn't mean he should be getting playing time, but he's still a damned good shooter.....

That's kind of my point.....
