I heard they didn't want him to play a b2b which would make him available for tonight.

I have Pekovic on my fantasy team and he's been huge for me...but I'm wondering how the wolves are handling the injury? Should I consider dropping him for Carl Landry or another big? I need consistent production and it seems like he'll be limited...fantasy playoffs are around the corner for me. Anyone have details to help me out?

So I'm guessing Pekovic's gonna see his minutes cut from the injury? It's tough to find a C producing like the big man has. Nice diamond in the rough for you guys.

I think it's more of a nagging ankle injury. Nothing serious, he just needs to rest it, which is hard to do this season. I wouldn't expect him to miss significant time but it definitely bothers him and affects his numbers when it flares up.

Pek is out for the next two games:

The Timberwolves' difficult 7-game, 13-day road trip just got tougher now that starting center Nikola Pekovic has gone home to get treatment on his hurting ankles.
He will miss the trips' final two games, tonight against the Spurs in San Antonio and Friday at Oklahoma City.

Pekovic flew with the team from San Francisco to San Antonio, but returned to the Twin Cities before Wednesday's morning shootaround.

Figures. They sniff the playoffs and then everyone starts getting killed off like the cast of The Walking Dead.

I'm afraid Adelman killed off the last ounces of confidence in Darko and from now on he's just a 7-foot vegetable planted on the bench waiting to be amnestied in the summer.
