Pretty bad game. Can't see us making the playoffs tbh.

McGee had a great first game though.

denver had a horrible game but the pistons had a lot of things going their way. Ben Gordon was on fire and the refs were only helping. I think this win will only motivate this team even more. as of right the nuggets are only half a game behind, to reach 4th place. They gotta make a push for that homecourt advantage.

Looks like the trade worked out for both teams. Nene was huge in his first game with us. 22 points 10 rebounds.

Was that real??

McGee coming up huge in his first game. Only Detroit would lose a game like that

What haven't we seen this year? All sorts of weird stuff......

Low Basketball IQ my a$$. JaVale had some flight time till ball comes out of the cylinder then puts it back in. EXPLAIN THAT!

I game when the guy was focused, lets keep the bragging under control under he has been here for a while. the guy made some really good plays and some really bad plays, not to mention we were playing the Pistons, who have 1 decent big man on their roster at this point.

I hope so but I am not sure. This team has not "learned" from close games recently. At least we won this one without going into overtime, thank you Mr. McGee.

If one game is any indication, George Karl showed he is way smarter than Randy Wittman or especially, Flip Saunders. He put McGee back in the game much earlier in the fourth; when Javale had 5 fouls.

McGee played the last 8+ minutes with 5 fouls.

Karl went offense/defense with his subs and put Javale in with Afflalo at the line. This coach might actually let a guy who is trying play through mistakes. Wizard coaches had a really short fuse with McGee. I watched McGee carry the Wizards a bunch of times. Still the 1st mistake he got benched.

I think McGee is free and will finally become whatever player he can be. He will do way better with Denver, or with whatever team gives him a deal next season. I expect he's home.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

McGee is an interesting player. I can tell there is still alot he needs to learn to play smart basketball, but his athletic abilities are good enough to generally cover up those mistakes. If the coaching staff can work hard with him to improve his bad plays, the kid has a world of potential. His size and athletic ability are really rare though and are well worth an little bit deeper look.

Oh and Andre Miller is a bad ass. Separated shoulder and still put up solid numbers despite not really being able to shoot, although he cant shoot much in the first place.

Now FO had given away Nene for this guy, i believe Karl is on a note to give him a sufficient PT. I liked the way Karl kept using our Centers except a short span without.

Playing on Wizard for awhile may have affected him to become numb to focus. Not trying to buzz the whole thing up high in the air just hope he continues to play solid focused ball and find a home here.
