Zaza has now missed 2 layups that could have decided games and he had the nerves to throw his hands up when Teague airballed that game winner. I'm telling you the negative attitudes towards each other are abundant on this team and it spread from somewhere. On the other hand, I will take the win.

man you are hilarious you hate for Josh Smith is incredibly blinding. you just don't like the man. Josh takes a lot of his shots because no-one else wants to take the damn shot. did you see Kirk, Teague, and Zaza pass on shots? Kirk pass to Josh, Josh passes Back to Kirk, Kirk passes to a wideopen Zaza 5 feet from the basket, Zaza passed to a wide open Teague, Teague passes back to a wide open Kirk, Kirk passes to Josh. The whole time this is happening JJ was being doubled and triple teamed. So explain to me how is that a bad shot , even though Josh missed it, when everyone else was to scared to take the open shot. Josh had to take that shot or it would be a 24 clock violation.

and if you actually watched and/or paid attention to the game you would see that this happens often. but all you see is Josh taking a shot and missing it. or you look at the box score and see Josh goes 8 for 20. watch the games and pay attention. Teague, and Zaza are killing us offensively. I like Zaza, but as a backup not a starter. I like Teague, but as a prospect not as the starter on a contending team. which I feel we could be if we had a pg who is ready now and a center that is a starter.

I will keep preaching the same thing until the dumb azzzzzz Hawks get it right.

oh, and the ones that are hating on LD. you are the same ones that were hating on Woodson. lets see what Woodson does with a complete and balanced team. that is something he never had in Atlanta.

Josh is a very good player - I love the kid. But that shooting-at-the-end-of-the-clock thing only happens once or twice a game (at most). Most of the time, the bad shots taken by Josh are by choice, many of then with plenty of time on the clock - sometimes way too early. However, last night was not one of those "bad Josh" games. Almost every shot he took was justifiable. He simply missed. Everybody has that kind of night.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

Josh and some people around him think he takes too much flak from hometown fans. I don’t think that’s always true but it would be in this case if the focus is on his missed Js after had had nearly half his team’s rebounds, more than half of its free throws and played 51 minutes. “I’m tired as a mother[bleeper],” he offered before hitting the showers.

Josh shortcomings are always blamed on someone else. He is the only one on the team that can't be wrong. Those bad shots were because he wanted them not because anyone put him in a bad situation to take them. There is a reason that Drew and others have said we don't mind him taking jumpers its just when he takes them. He frequently settles and misses a bunch around the rim also. He is not a great finisher in traffic himself. Sure he is better than Teague and Zaza at finishing in traffic but he leaves a lot to be desired also. Josh needs to be traded I am pretty sure that the guys can't say anything to him in the locker room just like you can't say anything about him on a site like this before his protectors come running about little Joshy Josh. Pat him up yall he needs your support not your ridicule.
