Mehmet Okur

He was released. What do you guys think? I know a couple of misled posters around here wanted us to go around trading key players for stretch bigs which was just silly, but this guy at his best is a stretch 5. He isn't old or anything just hasn't been really productive and injury prone as of late. I know with our cap situation we will not sign anyone but he would be a good get for those who wanted Troy Murphy or other young unproven stretch players. With Collins back, I don't see the reason to keep he and Damp and I would dump one of them for Okur.

We have 15 players so Apparently we'd have to waive a player and that would add to the luxury bill.

No moves coming,

The guy is done.

His back can no longer withstand the impact at the NBA level.

Pay the luxury tax for Okur? Not likely.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

You're right. However, what did the money we got from Golden State do to that?
