I hope you mean JEREMY LAMB and not Doron Lamb!

Doron is going to be a late late 1st or early 2nd round pick.

Ryu wrote:Yep. Speaking of sg`s, if Jeremy Lamb isn`t available when we pick I`d take Dion Waiters. That kid is a terrific basketball player and reminds me a little bit of young Dwyane Wade, when he was on Marquette.

Players we should be, imo, looking at 10-15 range are: Jeremy Lamb, Damian Lillard, Dion Waiters, Arnett Moultrie, Moe Harkless, Jae Crowder and maybe Quincy Miller and James McAdoo (if they declare for the draft).

I'd take Tony Wroten before Waiters. Tony can play both PG/SG and is a good all around player (offense/defense). I think his player comparison is absolutely correct, and see alot of Tyreke Evans in his game (1st year good 'Reke, not 2nd year bad 'Reke).

As for your list, i think Moultrie will be gone in the top 10. I like Lamb, not sold on Lillard, but i havent seen much on him. I like Miller, and think he could be an absolute steal, but his stock has dropped alot as other have risen. Im also not high on Hark, and think Crowder will be an absolute dud in the NBA. No way we even look at Jae, as he is a mid to late 2nd rounder. I dont see us buying a pick to take him either.

Hopefully suns are successful make that trade for a lottery pick by absorbing a contract I like a couple of guys from this draft not including Davis.

There's no way Jeremy Lamb slips from the top10 I think, Portland pick is his floor.

Doron Lamb is going to be a 12-22 guy, ¿2nd round? no **** way, the kid is smart, and by far the best shooter of the draft, also can defend pretty well, Arron Afflalo with less game is earning 8 million/y.

Doron Lamb would be a great pick with a latelotto, especially for a team like Suns.

Suns are going to have a #11-15 pick. You dont reach that far for player out of need.

Dont put so much stock in these mock draft sites. After the top 4 or 5 guys, you can put the next 20 in a blender. ie AMoultrie is 5th in one , and 25th in another. If no deals are made, we have but one selection. Fortunately, we have room for improvement at about every position. so just take the BPA.

I think we'll try to better our draft position, and/or add a pick.
At least that is the buttsmoke BabbyLon been blowing.

Mock drafts are tons of fun, so is the NCAA bracket. Almost no-one gets them right, too many variables and many of them we don;t even know about (trades, team to team arrangements, etc.)

Where we are now we have to take BPA, build assets. If it's a centre, we take him. Because - then we can make him available to 29 other teams who may need this player badly.

I hate to say it but players are commodities and you can't think about drafting some kid and he''ll be here forever, retire his jersey up there with the championship banners and all the romantic h**s*** t we cling to.

End of a dream, sad really.

Thanks Kerrsed!

Can you do that for all the mocks chad ford posts please?

The suns should have some nice options...would be awesome to have J. Lamb or Rivers in PHX.

I would rather take Jeremy Lamb rather than Jared Sullinger.

Still think Suns might make some noise on draft day, possibly with Detroit. Take on Ben Gordons bad contract plus their #6 and trade for the Suns #13. Suns will be under the cap so we can take his salary straight up.

Gordon just shot something like 9-9 from 3 point range recently against Denver. Still has some ball left in him along with 2 years $12+mill per year contract.

Fo Show!

I'd be down to take ben gordons contract if we can get a young stud! But only if we cant sign anyone else in the off-season!

i'm not sure I would want to put up with him for 2 years :-?

mixed feelings!

NBAdraft.net just posted their Mock version 2.0 .

They have us drafting......

Image

Jones has top five talent, but based on his intensity level and lack of consistency, it's more likely he will end up in the late lotto range (or later) on draft night. His sophomore statistics look eerily similar to his freshman numbers. Jones has jaw dropping physical attributes, but seems to have a hard time flipping the switch from his nice guy off court persona. His disappearance in the NCAA tourney has him back in many scout's doghouse.

Well, we are going to try to re-sign Nash and Hill for another 2 years, so i think 2 years of Gordon would fall right in line with the FO's plans. Nash/Gordon/Hill/??????/Gortat.

Frye fits in at the 4 there, obviously.

Or it could be a the 6th pick.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Ben Gordon's a good 2 guard to have if the team he's going to be on already has a good PG.

Thats why he played great with Derrick Rose in Chicago then sucked in Detroit until they drafted Knight and he's starting to play better.

If we're gonna resign Nash, then bringing Gordon over to PHX isnt that bad of an idea especially with a top 5 pick in the '12 draft. Although a Nash-Gordon back-court would be worst in the NBA defensively, beating out Jennings-Ellis backcourt in Milwaukke.

Looks like MKG will declare after the season. With a potential dominant class in 2013 I think the big guns will all declare this year...

Davis
Drummond
Gilchrist
Barnes
Jones x 2
Sullenger
Beal
Rivers
Lamb
Robinson

We really need to lose!

I too still think pistons and suns are likely trade partners come draft day.
But would prefer to keep suns pick also, maybe send then Frye or Lopez and a second rounder future.

Monroe can use a shooter big to give him space

I would trade Gortat for the Pistons pick. That would be a nice front court with Monroe.
