Not surprised, Turf is coming-back and we have Ves who could play in a pinch.

It was only a matter of time. He honestly had no chance in hell of sticking and honestly him lasting in the league beyond one year was one helluva of a gift by Ernie. Nice kid. Hopefully he's been in the league long enough that some overseas team will throw him a bone now.

The Maine Red Claws have acquired Hamady N'Diaye from the Available Player Pool. A 2010 Draft selection of the Minnesota Timberwolves, the 7-0, 236 lb. center joins the Red Claws after having spent the past two seasons in the Washington Wizards organization.

N’Diaye, who had never played basketball until high school, set school records at Rutgers University for blocks in a season (145) and career (358) before being named the All Big East Defensive Player of the Year in 2010. The Senegal native was drafted 56th overall by the Minnesota Timberwoves in 2010 before his rights were traded to the Washington Wizards.

Bring-back Hamady, we do not have any defenders with length, we need a 3rd Center. I am tired of seeing taller players shooting right over our bigs.

They'll shoot over N'Diaye too. They cut him because he's not an NBA player.

Oh! I don't think I ever saw more than a minute or two of him in garbage time. I thought he was supposed to be a good defensive player. Oh-well.

N'Diaye is long and he'll block some shots, but he's not a good defender. Too weak. Can't hold position. An NBA big would just bump him back and shoot over him -- no problem. Think about this: N'Diaye isn't even starting for his D-League team.
