I think that's all part 1 just split into 4 parts.

I like where McKechnie says JV's lower body is further ahead than his upper body. That's what I would prefer to see in a big prospect, unlike these guys like Amir who somehow bulk up on top but still have string bean legs.

Upper body strength is definitely important, but not as important as your base when playing the post.

Also, I'm digging McKechnie in general. It's like the Raptors now have their Michael Caine mentor figure.

Nope. Unless Lithuania won't qualify for Olympics.

Even then he is more likely to play with his U-20 team for another gold medal.

No he isn't. No one will be willing to pay insurance money for Jonas to play in some youth tournaments. His rights belong to the Raps you know. And that's good. Even if the senior team somehow manages not to make the Olympics, it would be good opportunity for Jonas to work on his body and prepare for upcoming NBA season rather then dominate some 19 year old kids again.

He should sign with Raptors after all that, so insurance has nothing to do with it. He was willing to play in U-21, but the plans changed since hes pretty much save to make senior team.

His contract will officially become legal later so he would not need the massive insurance money for this one.

Jonas himself expressed the willingness to play "with my guys" if the senior team would fail so its quite a possibility as again for Jonas those guys on the U-20 team is more than a basketball players but actually close friends like a family with whom he playing together since 15. Sometimes those things matter more than the logic which tells it would be stupid to play and most likely dominate another youth tournament with a risk of injury and the NBA contract.

Well it will be U-21 this year I just tend to call them U-20 from the retrospect.

Thats how all these U-x works. current year minus x. You got the initial birth year. In other words 2012 U-20 tournament is for guys who born in 1992 and younger.

The top prospects who are already in the senior team rarely play in the u20 euro championships.
Even if Lithuania doesn't qaulify for the Olimpics (i think they will) the chances for him playing are very low.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.
