Wade, Bosh and Cole have all taken more 3s than they should have.

Dude Wade has taken a career low in 3s, he and Bosh are allowed to take 3s from time time(rather when it's in the flow of the offense than random a 3).Both have only taken 58 3s combined, definitely not "chucking",especially Bosh.

Wade's problem is he takes them at the wrong times, however there were 3 times in the last two weeks where his threes were big shots, others just being heat checks which most stars are susceptible to do.

You really can't expect much better 3pt shooting overall than what we have been getting. If you take out the chucking of Wade/Bosh/Cole we're probably the best shooting team in the league by a lot.

Um... he's shooting a career high 50.4% from the field this season, his TS% is 13th among SGs (60th overall).
Bosh is also shooting slightly better than his career average...

I wouldn't exactly call that chucking...

Oh, and we are the best shooting team in the league - 1st in FG% & tied for 2nd in 3pt% (& 7th in FT%). :)

We were talking about 3pt shooting. I specifically said 3pt shooting in that post you quoted.

Then Bosh and Cole shouldn't be listed there. Bosh has taken 3 3-pointers since the beginning of February and Cole is shooting 44.4% (0.8 AtPG) from three post all-star (& 33.3% in February, which is not too terrible). But I'll give you that - Bosh did attempt too many of them in January and Cole didn't hit a good % of them back then either...

And Wade is attempting a career low (since his 2nd season) 0.9 threes a game...

Our overall 3-point shooting numbers obviously look great, but we were #1 in the league not too long ago. It's slipped because Miller's and Mario's numbers are down (they were in the mid 50's and high 40s, respectively, earlier in the year) and I believe (someone can check the numbers on this) Battier has been playing longer minutes of late and getting a larger share of the shooting

Still being #2 overall is great at a macro level, but at a micro level, I think Miami has looked weaker in the past couple weeks than they did in late Jan/Feb in large part because the 3-point shooting of late from the role players has been worse than it was then

I also think we'll see a different team defensively (and we're up to #5 in the league there now and basically tied with #4) when the pace of the schedule slows in the playoffs, with a ton of rest between games.

they would probably offer him something

the reason why they wanted to so many 3 point shooters, was because of D'Antoni. They should thank D'Antoni for pushing to get Novak lol. He's like, their most consistent bench player from 3.

Like someone said earlier if Miller doesn't perform in the playoffs this season he should go, Ray Allen on the other hand I like the idea myself he has miles on him sure with that said I still think he has some left in the tank but aquiring him well.. it's a long shot..
