Ranking and rating of some of the prospects are quite inconsistent but I agree with Sunny that alot of the posters there follow games very closely and have pretty good analysis of the prospects.

Honestly, as long as we're in the top or even 6, we're going to get a star potential player. My preferences in no order are Beal, Barnes, Lamb and Drummond. Also want Quincy Miller.

Year in Year out NBAdraft.net has been more accurrate then draftexpress and ford who either hype up prospects or they jump on who is hot bandwagon like typical fan would do.

This is pretty accurrate top 10

1. Davis
2. Barnes
3. Thomas ... little bit to high
4. MKG
5.Drummond
6.Lamb
7.Moultrie
8. Beal
9. Meyers
10. Sullinger ... still extremely underrated and little bit to low .. should be top5

Kenyon009 wrote:Rivers is overrated and sucks. I've been warming up to Sully lately and he seems like a decent prospect. He's consistent and he can be a good replacement for Bargnani since he has an NBA ready bangers body at 260lbs and a height of 6'10. That be a fantastic pairing with Val. I'd only take a go at him with a second pick in the draft so maybe if Bargnani could be traded for him that be a big help. Then of course you can draft a wing player like Beal and try moving on from there.

gimme rivers over sullinger anyday. i'm not sold jared is an above average nba player. could be sean may all over again

I have a huge supporters of the guys from .net. They are devoted fans of the game and give their opinions.

Just because they aren't the same as express/chad ford, doesn't mean they are bad. They are just their opinion.

Go look at the high school rankings from scout, rivals, espn etc. They are all vastly different.

The difference is Scout, Rivals, ESPN actually analyse the talent. Like you said they are more just a fan run site than a proffesional scouting service like the others. Take it with a grain of salt.

sure, but what difference does that make? the .net guys watch the prospects they are evaluating much more on average than scout/rivals/espn do for many of their prospects. Rivals is absolutely awful and the fact that they have credentials and professional ownership does nothing other than giving them a fancy website.

Chad Ford ‏ @chadfordinsider
If Perry Jones played with Quincy Acy's toughness/intensity or if Acy had PJ3 size? No. 2 pick in Draft

Lol someone is trying to get a job with nbadraft.net. Few things I can say off the bat. Barnes will not go 2, Drummond maybe slips to 5 but still doubt it, Lamb does not go ahead of Beal, Moultrie sure as hell does not go ahead of Beal.

The reason why Draft Express is so reputable and accurate is because Givony actually talks with NBA scouts and GM's. Of course he has to deal with a share of smoke screens and changed minds/draft day trades. You can also see a trend when the mock differs from the real draft, it throws it off, but he has certain teams picking "their guy" that was favored.

Example: Westbrook with OKC, Derozan with Toronto, and there are many more examples in later rounds.

That's a lie. That player would be the unquestioned #1 overall pick and arguably the next superstar in the NBA.

Yup, I'll take PJ3 with Acy's mindset at 1st no doubt!
