No heart.

I can understand getting beat by a team being better than us but to get beat because you lay down and quit?

Unforgivable.

What a weird game. Can't wait to season is over. Schedule and season has no flow. We have half a freaking roster.

I wonder if Rondo has any friends on this team

Rondo is the point on D too. Dribble penetration starts with the guards. We get carved up off the dribble. He's as inconsistent on D as he is shooting. He could be a great defender.

Rondo the point on D? Its Kevin Garnett
Yeah, Garnett is responsible for dropping dribble penetration of the point guard.
I don't think you understand what a Defensive "point" does....like Rondo does on the offensive end the defensive point leads the others, calls out schemes, and trying to control the movements of the other 4 players
I'm not blaming Garnett, his ass has been covering the weak D of this team all year, but don't make stuff up about Rondos apparent roles
What are you talking about? This isn't a communication problem, it's a "can't keep your man in front of you problem."

Rebounding is our biggest weakness, of course, but we shoot about 50 percent and can struggle to score 90?

See how easy it is to play when a teammate gets seriously injured. It's not easy. I don't care about tonight's result at all.

We needed depth. Unfortunately, that depth is now gone.

I don't know - give us Ray, MP, OR Bradley and maybe it's different. KG and PP played fine on a back-to-back road game, but Rondo was all pass no shot when we needed some O. Bass brings strengths but is limited - especially (and critically) on D.

I don't like excuses but this team has them tonight. Plus Philly got freaking hot for a stretch from the perimeter there! (while carving us up inside too..).

However you shake it we've been seriously snakebitten this year. Hope for the best for MP and let's move on.

So the best way to honor a fallen teammate is to lay down and quit?

I wouldn't want to be on THAT team.

That smacks of selfishness.

Pretty much fits our season........

Exactly. You had guys from the team crying on the sideline.

It sucks that every time we play Philly, the circumstances are horrible on our end.

Garnett 10-19FG 20pts
Bass 8-18FG 18pts
Pierce 7-11(4-5 in the 1st quarter) 20pts

Nice game plan.

Disagree.

How is he supposed to develop a rhythm playing once a week (if he is lucky)?

Exactly. Give it a rest Setshot. You know damn well there's not a single team in the league with half as much heart as the Celtics. But today is just one of those freak days where you just want the game to be over with..and we have half a friggin roster ffs. Chill out..

Hey idiot you do realize that Paul was getting doubled pretty much every time he got the ball leaving Bass or KG wide open usually on the mid-range jumpers that they're best known to make.

This Philly team is a mirage...a bunch of front runners...NO WAY they beat us of we have a full squad--and equal REST for both teams....We WILL win this division...so I wish these ESPN announcers would stop sucking on their dikkkks.

Yeah why do we bother giving anyone else shots? it should be Pierce shooting 40 a game
