the baffling part is that he's started 46 out of 47 games

I say just give it to Love every single time. Hes definitely earned it.
Not saying Durant aint good/clutch but he straight clowned Tolliver, Adelman needs to be double teaming in most those situations.
Refs served it up with some turkey, mashed potatoes, and cornbread.

Honestly, this is like the best regular season game i've seen in a really really long time, there was a Blazers v Celtics game from like 20 years ago that also went into overtime and had a beautiful pace, both teams were in the 150s but this might have even been better with the dramatic 3s by Love and Durant (twice).

I hope people weren't watching that under the rim slog fest known as the NCAA tournament tonight.

Really tough loss. Derek Fisher summed it up best post-game. Basically said there were 3 stars on the court and they were just lucky to have 2 of them.

Just a monster game from Love, and is JJ the shortest player ever to record a triple-double? That shocked me more than Love's stat line.

Dont know if his the shortest, but he's the first Timerwolve to have a Triple-Double in 5 years. The last one, Mr. Kevin Garnet

Kevin Garnett @ Boston 3/4/07 ---- 33 Pts, 13 Reb, 10 Ast

José Barea @ OKC 3/23/12 ---- 25 Pts, 10 Reb, 14 Ast

Heck of a game. Too bad the Wolves came up short and it really hurt the playoff hopes. But they put it all out there and played hard. Love just ran out of gas in the 2nd OT.

Sorry, but Love travel call was absolutely legit.

However, I still have to give him my props. I can't believe how far Love has come this season alone. He's proven me wrong ten times over.

Definitely it was. It wasn't a huge step, but it was definitely a clear pivot foot slide step. The only bad call down the stretch was Durant lowering his shoulder into Love, getting cleanly rejected, and somehow getting 2 free throws out of the situation. Thats to be expected though, referees assume fouls for guys that consistently create contact.

Bottom line for me is the Wolves had 3 big blown chances that stick out: Love travel, then (after the Durant tying 3 in the first OT) JJ missed a potential GW 3 that he had a nice look on - not a gimme, but big time teams hit those shots. The Wolves themselves used to hit those shots in the pre-acl era. 3rd big bummer was that sequence where Love missed a decent look inside, Tolliver got the offensive rebound and missed a point blank uncontested layup, then OKC rebounds and kicks out to Westbrook for 2 on the break. Big 4 point swing.

It looked like to me that durant got his arms in the way of loves so that klove couldn't get his arms up, and by extension couldn't go up, which caused him to slide. the travel was caused by a foul imo. I'm just a little bitter.
