this needs to go up on the site - Kerrsed or Soles, you know how to embed video?

Spurs Offer Unlimited Doughnuts, Sign Diaw

It's an animated GIF. If you're using something like wikimedia or even standard html it should be easy.

@Billando @dahking Nash would probably like him back & Diaw keeps a home & businesses in Phoenix but I don’t think the brass is interested.

Who the hell runs the Suns' front office? Base on the our roster adding this guy is a major boost. Yes the guy put on a few pounds but still is a great player. He can play 4 positions on the court (PG, SF, PF and C) but yet the Suns' F.O are not interested and want to add Josh Powell. As the late Bernie Mac would say: THIS IS SOME BULL

The BULL is you getting wadded panties about Coro assuming... "Suns likely to....' , 'Nash would probably...' , 'But I dont think....'

The dude (Coro) is just doing his job, laying out some opinions.

'I dont think' he's tapped into the thinktank like some think. If anything, this front office has been tight lipping from day one.

Would you sign Boris to a two yr deal ? I would bet that is what he is seeking. The FO is holding fast to not adding any more obligated money to next yrs cap space.

He is there because of Parker as much as anything. If Doris PO'd Silas because of effort/conditioning/and his often hairpulling pass first attitude... just think how he will mesh with POPS. Do the words 'rude awakening' come to mind?

I really don't think so. Watch Boris helping them to win the title. When Silas is moaning about the flaws of his players, Pop is using the strengths they have. I'm just shocked to see that Boris was considered only by the spurs. Suns should have bring him back.

By the way, will Jordan be named Executive of the year if the spurs win the title? After all, he gave away Jax and Boris  .

I think it was the other way around.... Doris wanted to go there, to be with his fellow countryman.
And you are likely right on Pops using him to his full advantage. But it will be night and day playing for Pops overs Silas, in may be a good way for Diaw.

You're right Frank, Boris wanted to go to the spurs. By shocked I meant I can't explain why any other team didn't even try to claim him off waivers. Not necessarly Phx but maybe a team like Boston...yet they picked Ryan garbage Hollins instead. Maybe it's me but I value basketball IQ over freakin athleticism. You never have too many smart players on your squad. Boris isn't as lazy as bobcats portayed him. Everybody knew over there that he won't be a part of there future...and Boris knew too.

One things for sure, Boris is going to really help their second unit. Watch him run it as a point centre from the post with their young wings and Bonner as their stretch PF.

I agree lecrapaud... but I dont think Diaw was waived... he was bought out. Perhaps the rules then are different as I did not read anything of him 'clearing waivers'.

"Free agent Boris Diaw has reached agreement on a deal with the San Antonio Spurs, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.
Diaw agreed to a buyout with the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday and cleared waivers Friday afternoon. The Spurs will sign Diaw for the remainder of the season.

so -best of both worlds then, bought and waived.

wtf?
