I need to go do laundry. Debating if I want to check to see if the washer/dryer are available or just be ballsy and just take my laundry down either way.

Having a washer and dryer is a luxury now. I have a washer, but when it comes to drying your clothes, its all mostly hang dried here. Locals normally hand wash their clothes.

I miss fabric softeners.

Nope 8-). My ballsy move paid off. People in the ghetto don't wake up on Sunday mornings.

My boss told me another story of his youth last night. His older brother dragged him and his friend, named Malcolm to Sampson's airforce base in Rochester New York. Malcolm had a job with the family business fixing watches. He wanted to get the consession there for the jewellry business. He asked and got it like my boss's brother told him to do. For about 2 years, Malcolm saved up about $100,000 and went to build up his fortune through real estate.

Turns out he is Malcolm Glazer, who later became owner of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Manchester United.

My boss's brother ended up passing away a couple of years later. When my boss's son started out at Merrill Lynch when he was in his 20's, my boss told him to call up Malcolm Glazer to get his account. Told him to just tell him his name and that Malcolm would sign up with him. Sure enough, his son got Malcolm's account at Merrill Lynch. His office couldn't believe some young upstart kid just landed one of the largest accounts. Later, he ended up losing it because some lady in the office had a prior old account with Malcolm Glazer that was never used. Either way, it's really cool story.

I'm a consultant. I use my knowledge, network of contacts and friends, and end up supporting whatever project, trades, deals I can find. Right now, I'm just learning from my boss and mentor.

In Asia we have lots of opportunities and more so than in the US. I'm getting my on the job education here in international business.

It's tough for sure. Especially in Asia where if you want to do business here, you have to think how to screw the person over because they are thinking about screwing you. That's new for me.

It's more acceptable to be corrupt, just don't get caught is the key.

Ryan, I hope you didn't do anything stupid last night. And stop talking about fluffy women as if they're something you'll regret.
