Jazz At Hawks

Post#1 » by Superiorblogman » Sun Mar 25, 2012 10:09 pm

They have a winning record and have won 6 in a row and are bigger than us. Let's see if we can beat a hot, bigger team with a winning record when we are on the final leg of our 2nd 3 in a row.

Joe Johnson is having a great game so far. Hawks are up 10.

Bad sub there by Drew. Marvin has been probably the best defender on the court, hitting the boards and getting to the line tonight. You can't pull him so you can keep Kirk in.

Marvin big on the defensive end again tonight. I just don't understand Kirk hinrichs worth on the court.

The Hawks are playing with a ton of heart considering all the games that have been played lately.

Since I am a Suns fan first and foremost, I want the Hawks to win this. Not to mention that whole Hawks fan thing.

Defensively, Marvin Williams has been amazing tonight.

Very impressed with the team and the effort tonight. We basically had a 9 man rotation tonight. They get a well deserved night off tomorrow. 3 players with over 50 minutes, 5 over 40, and 8 over 25 mpg (Collins with 8 and 5 fouls, lol).

Smith had an off night scoring wise, but that is bound to happen. Teague can't shoot 3's...at all. JJ carried the team. Marvin and Zaza each with solid games.

Crazy game, but i didn't really care who won, even though the Jazz are a lesser team and the Hawks had no business playing down to the Jazz's level, but because i don't think playoff position is going to be important this year, because Sixers and Pacers are going to be tough, i just want the Magic in the first.

their were some problems, but i don't want to get into that, the guys played great, and they deserve their two days off.

Marvin is no Chris Paul, but he always bring elite defense at either forward positions and he brings 3pt shooting.

Marvin always brings great defense, so these defense comments always seem redundant to me. Concern with Marvin has never been with his defense, it has always been with his apathy on offense.

These Hawks care. It hasn't always been the case in the ATL as we know. I wanted us to win so bad just to reward their effort and resilience. I'm glad we came through at the end. This is a big win folks.
GO HAWKS.
