Detroit would never make that trade IMO. We are rebuilding, and Gortat is already 28. Besides, Monroe is a natural C not a PF. What Detroit needs is a young and athletic PF that can block shots, they will have better options at pick #6.

1UPZ wrote:I too still think pistons and suns are likely trade partners come draft day.
But would prefer to keep suns pick also, maybe send then Frye or Lopez and a second rounder future.

Monroe can use a shooter big to give him space

If this were true, we could simply use Austin Daye or Charlie V at the PF spot. Yet, neither of those guys is getting minutes. What we need is a defensive PF to pair with Monroe, not another soft shooting F.

I dont see these two teams as good trading partners.

Barnes without a PG is awful, but Washington has one very good PG so I believe that they we'll grab him, or if they see Vesely has a SF, maybe T-Rob, but I don't thin so, If they grab Barnes, the roster would be perfect for Mike D'Antoni, they should hire him.

The picture now is cear for me,

Charlotte, Davis
Washington, Barnes
New Orleans, Sullinger/Robinson
Portland, Drummond
Toronto, MKG
Detroit, Robinson/Sullinger
Sacramento, Henson
Cleveland, Beal
Utah, Marshall/JLamb
Portland, JLamb/Marshall
Milwaukee, T-Jones/Leonard
New Orleans, Leonard/T-Jones
Phoenix, Rivers
Utah, DLamb/Lillard

good match up with Iny/KY... Zeller/Davis

Kidd-Gilchrist is a tough... their whole team is tough. At least 4 pro-level dudes right now. Indy playing the scrappy whiteboy ball trying to hang in there.

I dont see anyone beating them.... especially now that NC's PG is out. They are overwhelming... no weak links... talent just keeps coming at you.

102 points in 40 minutes... only UNC can match up with that, but whit Marshall, and it's unclear if he can plays in the FF, also winning over Kansas/NCSt. without him,... pfff it's gonna be tough, especially against Kansas, unless Barnes produces.

If the Suns make the playoffs, then we're looking at a pick in the 15-20 range. I am very intruiged by Tony Wroten Jr. Worth a look if we are picking in that range. Could be our pg of the future.

Who are the top point guard prospects in this draft? What do you think about Damian Lillard or Kendall Marshall ?

Before y'all start the PG drooling... perhaps we should see how the Brooks scenario plays out. Its coming to a head.

I like Beal more but would be thrilled to have either. Damnit Suns, lose!

no, no, only not Austin Rivers.. Second Brandon Jennings. You can have better shooter with lately 1st round pick - D. Lamb.

Jeremy Lamb will be great choice. He may be drafted before our pick, so there're two good alternatives: Tony Wroten and.. Dion Waiters. Second guy imo will be steal this draft. He is young DWade. Same style plays, same size, even very similar appearance and same NO jersey in Orange team :D
If we will pick SG, we sign PF - Ilyasova, and if we will sign SG - Mayo, Gordon etc, we pick PF - John Henson, Jarred Sullinger, Arnett Moultrie, Perry Jones, maybe Terrence Jones. Someone of them will be on 100% available with our pick.

If MKG (almost surely), Brad Beal or Jeremy Lamb aren`t available when we pick I`d draft one of those: Damian Lillard, Tony Wroten or Dion Waiters.

I`d pass on Rivers and Doron Lamb. Doron is just role player on the next level, imho.

I am really intrigued by Tony Wroten learning poing guard skills of maestro Nash. That kid has elite athleticism, quickness, first step, is terrific slasher to the basket and has decent passing ability. His shooting ability, on the other hand, needs improvement. At his best I see him as a cross between Russell Westbrook (with better passing) and Tyreke Evans so he can be a steal as a mid first round pick.

I will be really upset if we take Damian Lillard. Okay, so he can score; 24.5 points per game. I'm not sure about him though. He reminds me of last year's draft for some reason: high potential, not proven, scores a lot. I just feel like a lot of players in last year's draft fit that description, and I would be upset if we didn't take one of the many proven and talented players in this year's draft. Aside from that, the last thing we need is an unproven score-first point guard due to the possibility of Aaron Brooks returning. Personally, I like Kendall Marshall, Tony Wroten, and Marquis Teague more than Lillard. I hope we don't draft PG though and go after one of the many SGs or big men.

Yes, but he will be very pretty role player. Rivers could be a leader, more important player only in small, very small markets like Milwaukee, New Orleans, Oakland..etc. In stronger team he will be a role also.

MKG is my favourite player this draft, no.1, over Anthony Davis and this choice with our pick is sci-fi :)
Bradley Beal, same as Harrison Barnes don't convice me. Barnes has a potential, but he's a rider without head. Very chaotic player.
I don't know who will be Beal in NBA. franchise player? 2nd, 3rd ofensive option?

Damien Lillard is second Jimmer Fredette. I don't predict him big career, maybe he will be good bench scorer somewhere in example Canada ;)

Marshall`s good but I can`t see him pass by Utah and they`ll draft before us.

Teague is overrated, in my book. I am not impressed with his game.
