LeBron's Elbow

Post#1 » by HIF » Mon Mar 26, 2012 2:44 pm

What does everyone think?

Has he got a problem?

Is it physical or mental or both?

If physical is it something we need worry about?

Watching his shot over the last few games I'd be inclined to give him a couple of games rest. I think he'd come back aggressive and ready to play.

I think we can win without him but even if we lost a couple it's no biggie when you look at the large picture.

Honestly the team just looks unfocused. I don't see the same energy level that I am used to seeing in Lebron and most of the team for that matter. I think mentally they are very bored with the regular season and I am sure that they all have little injuries they are nursing as well. As a fan of course I would rather see them come out and dominate like they did right before the break, but we just have to hope they are ready to go come playoff time.

I say its mental, Im not a Lebron fan but I like watching him play because he is the best player. But he has a mental block every fourth quater that leaves the Lebron fans puzzled. Look at at his numbers in the 4th quaters. Unbelivable. Yesterday he only scored 4. in the fourth. When the game went to Heat 8 down, that is when Lebron had to take over and he just passed and passed.

God! Not this 4th quarter talk again!

Why do you people always have to single out the games where he doesn't score 15 points in the 4th and conclude that he's useless in the 4th?

Do you know how many times he's bailed us out IN THE 4TH QUARTER this season? Guess not. That's not important to you. You only want to see the one where he doesn't score much.

Oh and just so you know, Lebron hasn't been playing well the past 3-4 games because of his elbow injury. He should have sat out in Detroit to rest it but he played through it and shot badly.

Don't just jump to conclusions.

He was in a slump before the elbow injury, I think the elbow injury didn't help matters. Turnovers are more of a problem than anything. He had what 12 turnovers in 2 games now?

I just think our team looks bored of the regular season. We're not focused. Everyone is a little banged up. If I were Spo I'd seriously consider resting Lebron. Maybe it'd allow Bosh to get more involved again and get his confidence going.

The guy I'm worried about is Rio.

Jajajajajaja, help the Heat in the 4th quater? Please do what I did, go game.by game and go to game shots, click on Lebron James and pick the 4th quater, then go game by game and you will see for your eyes. Its shocking! He has the lowest 4th quater from Durant, Rose, Dirk etc.

He doesn't even play the full fourth quarter most games, so the stats are a little deceiving. Also there are games where Wade has it going in the fourth, and there's no reason for Lebron to put up points.

We're really not worried. Rose's fourth quarter numbers are irrelevant since he can't score on Lebron.

I've missed some games of the Heat lately because I have a difficult schedule here in Finland to watch games and lately Utah are on a run to make the POs but I gotta say I feel disapointed with the way LeBron is playing. From the games I've seen he has set to much for his jumpshot and almost never attacks the basket.

I really hope he is avoiding more contacts due to injury... but I'm also worried that he assisted only 2 times last night and had 6 TO! Come on... he can TO a lot sometimes but at least he puts more points and assists while doing it. If it's not injury I wonder what the hell is hapening?!

If other people had made their shots, he would have more than 2 assists. He's hurt too.

Lebron didnt have much trouble in the 4th quarter last year in ECF's where he almost single handedly sent the Bulls to the golf courses. Rose on the other hand...........

Well at least hes a good regular season champion

To me this team looks mentally done. Last year in the Finals, I didn't feel like LeBron was choking I felt he was out of gas. He wasn't exploding off the ball, he wasn't jumping over people, he was just going through the motions. Right now, Bosh & LeBron just seem out of gas. This is what happens when you don't run an offense and your asking them to show on every pick and roll and defend the paint like they do. YES our defense is great but at time, we shouldn't worry about packing the paint. Hopefully Spo sees this and gives them a few games off and let there minds get right.

Ive said this for a while. The defense that we run, although its great at times, wears the team down. Packing the paint and forcing everyone to sprint out to guard a WIDE OPEN 3 gets tiring. If they just ran regular man to man, I think the team wouldn't run out of energy as fast. The way were always running back to their assignment on defense because were doubling Chris Duhon is so dumb. I know they're trying to force turnovers but its wearing them out, and its giving opposing teams wide open looks constantly. The loss of Miller also has increased the playing load on Battier, Wade, and James.

I'd much rather this team go through this now than in the playoffs, my only fear is while they're getting burned out night after night, Rose is just chilling on the bench waiting while his team STILL wins game after game. We have all 3 of our stars and can't win.

@WindhorstESPN LeBron James may have dislocated left ring finger

thanks SPO

so from elbow to dislocated finger, looking forward to the bricking

My body ain't ready

Will say it again: in 2 games I've seen from courtside since LeBron collided with GHill, he hasn't looked same to me. Not his usual juice.
