Pistons vs Wizards--Tankalicious Delight

Post#1 » by Jay81 » Mon Mar 26, 2012 6:19 pm

Cant wait for this one. Two of the worst teams and GM's in the NBA get to square off.Anyone have a list of the combined blunders of EG and Dumars in the past 5-6 years?

Only reason I am starting this thread is I started the one against New Orleans which we won but didnt get a chance to start the next one.

I am 1-0 this year in game threads!

I hope the pistons beat us btw...we need to finish 2nd worst team in the league so we can draft at #5 at the worst when we take our usual 3 position drop.

If Nene isn't playing, I think we lose this one.

We dropped 2 spots last year.
Jumped 4 spots in 2010
Dropped 3 spots in 2009

The league owes us a one spot bump. So lets finish second last and get Anthony Davis

I am okay with the Nene trade if we believe that Kevin Serphain is better than Javale McGee. By the time, Nene's contract winds down, if we believe that Kevin is the real deal, he should be ready to be our center of the future and be a 15-10 type player playing 36 minutes a game

I remember when these games were good. The Billups/Wallace Pistons vs. the "big 3" Wizards were pretty entertaining. Now... :(

At least it's open gym tonight. Our pickup games are more fun to watch than the Wiz or Pistons. :D

CCJ's dream just came true -- Seraphin and Nene starting.

KS finally at PF because Booker is out. I said Book was looking hobbled.

How exactly did that become CCJ's dream.

I posted KS at PF in the projected line ups way before the season started and have been talking about it ever since. Hell I posted about wanting to see him there after the first practice video I saw of him. From the start I got... KS is not a PF even though he is listed that way on his draft card.

Ah. Nene is back. Nice. Finally, the power line up.

I'd like to see KS attack the rim more often. He has a soft touch around the rim but i think he relies on it too much.

And Seraphin is still not a PF! He's as much a PF as Booker is a SF or Jamison is a SG. Seraphin is a C. That's it. Seraphin can play with Nene b/c Nene can play PF. But Seraphin operating away from the basket or defending in space is not something I'd want to see.

He doesn't have to be that to be a PF. Lots of PFs cant do that. He is a type of PF. No one said he was an All Star PF. Just that he could play there some and in the right line ups.

Love the hook shots the Seraphin has from both hands.
