Re: Pistons vs Wizards--Tankalicious Delight
Wow. Wiz call timeout and lose possession as a result of their own timeout.
Detroit hits a three.
Honestly, this is a well-played, tank game with the only thing standing out is Wittman's subs.

this^^
surprises me how many people want the wiz to lose every game.
anthony Davis or meaningless win?
i don't think it's meaningless. every win is huge for walls confidence and development. losing is contagious too much losing early on for wall could be detrimental to his development.
i don't like anyone in this draft anyways, even davis.[/quote]
look at how much meaningless wins cost the redskins this year with regards to RG3

In all seriousness, same old thing was happening before the trade.
The interior defense is much-improved, but teams that swing the ball almost always get an open three.

I was mad about that, too.
However, from spacing standpoint I guess it worked with Vesely on the opposite elbow.

I think Crawford did that purposely to set up a gamewinner for himself.

Exactly. These wins don't give us momentum into next season like some people think. A lot of these players might not even be on next year's roster, and the remaining players will forget all about a win against DET. Eyes on the prize!

Teams that run a pick and roll DON'T get a layup or an open three. That was happening routinely before the trade.

Don't worry, Ji. They've got Will Bynum and Tayshaun Prince, both Wizard killers. Also, Jerebko probably beats Vesely inside if Wittman leaves him in.
Sorry for those who want to win. I'm happy either way.

That is just Wizards luck.

Yes. we have to lose. whats the point of winning? Atleast we get a better chance at Athony Davis.

there is nobody equivalent to RG3 in this draft.
the draft when we got wall, i was all for it. he was worth tanking for . not eyebrows though.

Anthony Davis will be a better pro than John Wall.

I love myself some John Wall, but I don't remember the last time the kid hit a clutch shot -- and he takes a LOT of them.
