Morris Claiborne, I really want him. A lock down CB with 4.39 40 speed.

A lockdown CB can make an entire defense perform better

With our draft position we can't go wrong. I would be happy w/ Kalil, claiborne, or richardson. Ideally I would like to draft Kalil in the first and David wilson in the second. Then focus the rest of the draft on the d, specifically a lb and a safety. Also if Kalil is still there with our pick I wouldn't mind trading down and adding more picks if the price was right. Tackles like Kalil are very special and I think some teams might overpay to add him.

Re: Calling All Bay Fans
A Blount/Richardson backfield would punish defenses each week. I feel like we would easily have a top 10 offense and it would give the fans some much needed excitement.

Re: Calling All Bay Fans
@ ManChild, no way the Bucs take an OL at 5. It's Claiborne or Richardson or trade down.
@ SuperFreak, this draft is stacked with RBs. I like Richardson, but the defense has more holes to fill, especially in the secondary with Talib's issues and Grimm's knees. If you can get a lock down CB at 5 like Claiborne you do it. Then draft a Doug Martin, LaMicheal James, David Wilson in rd 2.
IF I were Mark Dominik, this is what the Bucs draft would look like,
1) CB Morris Claiborne
2) RB Doug Martin
3) OLB Travis Lewis
5) SS Brandon Taylor
6) CB Mike Harris
7) RT Landon Walker
Get a franchise lock down CB at 5. Get a speedy, receiving RB to pair with Blount(some scouts compare Martin to former Rutger RB Ray Rice). The Bucs were unable to sign a MLB in FA. Schiano has already said Mason Foster will stay at MLB. Geno Hayes is a FA and will not return, leaving Black and Watson at OLB. Black proved last yr he is not worth the contract he got before the season. Travis Lewis is a very good OLB. TJax is back at safety and Grimm can't stay healthy. Brandon Taylor is a good player and will provide depth at safety. Mike Harris had a solid 2 yrs coming out of JUCO, in Mark Stoops defense at FSU. Harris is fast, physical and a good athlete. Finally Landon Walker is a solid RT prospect.

I like that draft alot, would rather have David WIlson in round 2 but I'm thinking the Giants are taking him at the end of the 1st. I like Brandon Taylor and Mike Harris late

Wilson and Lamar Miller are 1 yr wonders IMO. Doug Martin was great at Boise St for 4 yrs.

Brandon Taylor is a very good player and I believe will have a nice NFL career.

With the hiring of former LSU DB's coach, I'd love the Bucs to draft Claiborne and Taylor.
