Sounds like Lind needs to go on Thames' yoga program. His core strength is horrible, apparently.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

Lind can't be breaking down like this after just spring training. There's still 162 games to go. Does he really have such a fitness problem that he can't take 30 games of part time work?

Bring up David Cooper. He's by far the most ready hitter for us.

It might be time to have Lind DH full-time if his body can't handle the grind of a season. The Jays cannot afford to have Lind put up another crappy season. If he is hurt, then sit him out and DH him when he is healthy.

Gomes, our spring training unlikely surprise, DH'd and went 1-3 against the Yankees. Knocked in a run with a double. He catches, plays 1B and 3B. Wouldn't be surprised if he's the guy who gets injury callups.

mhm

As for the Snider-solution, we won't know until the 14th of April--the first date that a player optioned during Spring Training may be recalled.

The last time Lind was the full-time DH in 2010 he made excuses about how it was hard for him to focus without a position (I guess that was supposed to explain his horrible season).

The only real solution with this guy is to platoon him, build his numbers without having to face LHP, and then trade him as soon as possible.

Snider can only be called up one more time though, and then he has to stick with the team. Looks like EE would be the guy to cover 1st, and then there's options for our DH. On the plus side, we'll see Lawrie likely moving up in the lineup because of this. :D

Snider can be shuttled back and forth all seeason, just like the rest off his career. His minor league options are on a year by year basis, not for every time he's sent back and forth.
