LeBron's injuries have been minor. Many players are playing with much worse injuries. Heat can still get the number one seed so let's not baby the biggest, strongest man in the NBA

Heat today: Spoelstra said LeBron didn't dislocate finger; LeBron said he did. X-rays showed no break, expected to play vs. Mavs Thurs

GOOD GRIEF. I hope he's fine, but this is severe because he's very important to us.

Then he won't win the MVP

Given your sig says Durant will win the MVP you'll probably be happy about it, which in essence leads me to believe that you're only here to troll, so just get lost.

Even though his injuries have been minor, there have been too many of them to ignore it all. The days of rest helped, but LeBron needs a week or even a little more off, similar to Wade who was nursing multiple minor injuries early in the season and tried to play through it while sucking. Back then I was, at first, foolish enough to say "suck it up and play through it", but after a couple of bad games you just realize how much even a minor injury can hamper your play.

^ I don't think LBJ needs rest. What he needs is other guys to assume more responsibilities to allow him to do less on the court, and conserve his energy.

He needs Bosh to get 10+ boards a game. He needs Wade to start defending the best offensive player.

LBJ is doing way too much on the court. He's your leading scorer, rebounder, passer... It's way too much.

LeBron struggles to hit shots he usually nails, which is a sign of being injured and/or fatigued.

Regarding Wade and the defense: Wade did actually guard Durant on multiple possessions against OKC and, when the matchup presents itself, defends the good guards in this league, so that's not really an accurate point. When we play New York or OKC, LeBron should be on KD and Melo. When we play the Lakers, Wade guards Kobe, that's the way it should be, everything else is just dumb.

Regarding Bosh and the rebounding: It wasn't a problem for LeBron to rebound well while scoring prior to all of his injuries because he's 6'8 and extremely strong, so naturally, he's a 7-8 rebound per game kinda guy with the body and frame he is. Thus, I doubt he has to invest that much more energy into grabbing the boards.

LeBron is just injured and a little tired, but not because statistically he has to do so much, but because we overplay him, we burn him out, we push him into 40 minutes of intense basketball when he's taken hard hits. It might sound surreal to some, but the guy is human after all. He's a tank, he can play through a lot and can probably play through his current injuries but you have to ask yourself at what price, because it will more than likely bite him in the ass later in the season.
