There have been plenty of leaks, whispers and rumors about the next Xbox for a few months now, but there hasn't been a lot of talk about Sony's plans for the next generation.
Kotaku, though, claims to have uncovered some inside information about the system that, on the surface, makes it sound like the next generation console race is going to be a tight one -- and begin next year.
Citing a single anonymous source, Kotaku says it believes the code name for the next PlayStation is "Orbis." And while the next console from Sony is widely expected to be called PlayStation 4 when it hits shelves, the site infers that Orbis might be the system's final name.
Whatever it's called, Kotaku says we can expect to see it released in the holiday period of 2013 -- the same timeframe most expect the next Xbox to arrive. If so, that would eliminate the one year head start Microsoft enjoyed with the Xbox 360, a year that gave it a lead over Sony that thus far has proven insurmountable.

Much like the rumored next Xbox system (codenamed Durango), the new Sony system will lock games to a PSN account, which could impact the used game market.

That really sucks, I remember as a kid I frequently bought/traded for used games, I would just beat them and trade them in unless they were worth keeping for replay value or historical/emotional attachment lol Thankfully now I'm an adult, have no kids and currently still live at home so paying $60 isn't impossible but it does add up especially when some great games are bundled together, with that said, I like shopping Craigslist for video games, I've found a lot of great deals. To sum all this up, I'll say that the biggest factor here is the fact that I no longer play videos like I used to. I play what I have daily sure, but unless I'm heavily recommended a game, I more than likely, won't care to buy it. Between full time work, full time school, working on music and hanging out with my Lab pup leaves little to no time to play video games. I play at most 30 mins a day, usually 5-7 days of the week.

In 20 mins i'm off work and get to start the harder part of the day. I'm driving from Reseda to Yucaipa :-? i'm going to see a friend's neighbor's newborn husky pups, specifically one of the males. A very close family friend of ours and someone who has been a major source of support and mentoring in music, wants a pup. He got divorced a few years ago and his bitch of a wife (we all knew she was no good and just wanted his hard earned money, he's a contractor who started out as a construction worker.) requested the dog as part of the divorce, somehow she won the dog as well. He had found the dog in the street one night and he took it home, 10+ years passed and then she was taken by the wife, now ex-wife. So now he wants a pup, as young as possible. Enter me and my luck, managed to find one thanks to a friend. Going to see the pup tonight and leaving the deposit. It's a pure breed husky who was an accident lol The deposit is only $25 and the pups will be 8 weeks May 10th so that's when I go pick him up and pay the final $25. I haven't told my grandpa and won't until May comes, his birthday is a few days later so it'll coincide very well. This also gives me time to buy everything he'll need for the little guy. I'm actually excited! It's strange, I wasn't like this before but since I found my black Lab pup after he was wandering in the streets of Hollywood, I have a newfound place for pets.

No way man, I wish I could live like DD. Dude writes the songs just like I do, difference is he's successful and is reaping the fruits of his labor. Keep it on the DL but I admire the guy. He's successful from what I've read on here and always seems humble.
