Whole team looks out of gas and not on the same page. But our PG play really has gone to crap following the ASG. Rio is getting wide open looks, I just don't get it. Not a good thing at all to have happen. Our PG play was a major help earlier this year.

Weekday curfews need to be put in place and mandatory curfews on road trips with required sleep hours.

The way I see It, whether Mario is playing well or not, his backup is cole and cole cant handle it. Get someone else because making lebron play point will take him out the post and we don't want that

Both cole and rio are fatigued and suck, get another point guard or accept we will lose in the playoffs

Oh please stop panicking we were 2 games away from winning the whole thing with MIKE FREAKING BIBBY as our starting PG. I'd rather take a slumping Mario AND Cole over old knees Bibby.

Mario and Cole are just in a slump.

It's not panic if i felt we needed another point guard even when Mario was playing well. I alwaays felt we did because we need lebron in the post and we need wade to play off the ball.

I happen to think point guard play is very important and I think having ONLY Norris coming off the bench in the playoffs is worrisome. Maybe he will be ready next year but i don't see it this year

Hell it almost seems as if the entire team has seriously regressed since the AS break.

The whole team is just in a big ass slump right now...

Cole was never really an asset, even at the beginning of the season. People were just excited about him. He was still inefficient and a bad defender even at his "high" point.

He was never close to a "huge asset"

Winner, winner, chicken dinner.

This is exactly what it is. Chalmers played out of his mind because he was in fear of losing his starting job after signing his long term contract. Once Cole went into the tank and it became clear that Chalmers could not lose his spot even if he tried (and he has), he exhaled.

Cole, in my opinion, needs to be extracted from the rotation. He makes poor decisions on when to shoot and when to pass, when to push the ball and when to set up the offense. His drives to the basket are typically as unsuccessful as they are ill advised, and he is the most unreliable shooter on the team. Perhaps once Miller returns (from what must have been the worst ankle sprain in the history of ankle sprains) the Heat should experiment with starting the big lineup and making Chalmers the back up.

I hope you two don't really think that Chalmers thinks like that. That preposterous.

There is no extra effort required to make a shot rather than have that same shot slightly rim out. It just happens. If Chalmers plays well he can get an MLE or higher contract after this one. If he plays poorly he'll be a veteran's minimum guy. He has plenty of motivation to play well. He didn't just say "Good thing I got my job safe, I'm gonna start sucking now". That makes zero sense.

Not to mention Chalmers played well even after Cole showed that he wasn't a capable starter.

I agree with you that Cole should play less and for the same reasons you mentioned. I don't think starting Miller is the way to get to that goal.
