2) No more shots off the dribble for Haslem. If it's not there, pass it.

3) Cole pushed a lot of fast breaks for us early on. That needs to come back. Get him the ball fast.

4) Turiaf needs increased minutes at PF and not out of position at Center. He's a true PF.

5) Chalmers needs to come off the bench for a few games.

6) Lebron should take 2 games off.

7) Lebron & Bosh need to set up in the post much much more. (higher % shot+ in position to rebound)

8) The defense must also incorporate zones, traps and man to man no collapsing to mix things up. The coach is not being creative enough with his playbook. This also needs to be addressed. The team lacks discipline which the coach's responsibility to maintain it by rotating other players into the game when others are not performing to their expectations.

9) Have a free throw & 3pt shooting contest amongst the players.

10) Have a rebounding contest amongst the players.
1) Right now, Pittman is a situational player against power bigs with a post game, like Dwight, M.Gasol, Bynum, Hibbert etc. But, unfortunately he can't play very big minutes against them (foul trouble, fatigue).

4) Not sure about Turiaf's best position, but, mainly due to our defensive schemes, he's currently the best C (before we got him, it was Joel :() we've got. And he's played about 75-80% of his career minutes at C.

5) And start who? Norris Cole? Wade & LeBron shouldn't be playing PG for long stretches as it takes away from their post game - their most efficient way of scoring. And also they shouldn't be chasing around quick PG for long stretches...

8) We are trapping a lot and I've noticed some match-up zones recently

Agree with the rest of it.

Team is just tired. We have a big home stretch coming up, that should get things back to normal.

I think that there's not much Spo can do. A lot of this is just what happens when you play a tough condensed schedule where every team you play plays it like a playoff game.

I think as fans we just need to be patient and maybe have a little extra energy at the home games for the players to feed off of.

Anyways about this thread, sorry, this team is too talented for that crap. Wade, Lebron and Bosh are going through a slump, it happens people, we've had worst ones last year.

These players need rest, this is not your ordinary season. If you expect them to play like they did against the Knicks a couple weeks back night in and night out, you're dreaming. That is too much energy to exert.

Why take a risk of losing the ECF this season with Spoelstra ? FIRE HIM OR DEMOTE HIM TO ASSISTANT. Our window of time is closing other teams getting younger better and faster as little by little we will get older & Wade first will start losing a bit. Lets do it now why wait lets get it done BYE BYE SPO. Nate McMillan would be a good choice to step in if Spo is fired NOW Phil Jackson nor Sloan would come in that situation since time is short for playoffs. Phil Jackson will coach New York Knicks probably if he comes back from retirement and it would be next season not this season as per media rumors/speculation. Riley would not want to be shadowed by Phil so i don't think it will happen but in life anything is possible.

Indeed at all times should be encouraged. ENERGY EFFORT EFFICIENCY Its a short season everyone knows that its not easy but we cant let the good on team that has been built just slip away with little time left for playoffs not let BAD TEAM HABITS loom that are carrying over from last season.

Wade off the bench is one of the dumbest things I've heard on this thread. Rest is the key.
If we are going to specific:

1. Reduce LeBron's minutes
2. Get Bosh established early in the game
3. Give Turiaf insanely more minutes (but still keep Joel as a crucial piece in the rotation)
4. The substitution and rotational minutes are tiring out our players, make the appropriate adjustments in-game, not this "Take Wade out 4 minutes left in the 1st and leave LeBron out there for the whole 1st and middle of the 2nd"
5. Cole has to go back to his run n gun mode in the transition. He can be a one-man fastbreak, its just his finishing needs work. His halfcourt offense is horrible.
6. Mario needs his confidence back, let him take more attempts.

Our players need time off between games. The days we don't play, they should have optional shootarounds and maybe a video session here and there. Given that we'll have a lot of home games coming up, this rest in between games could do wonders for us.

Yes home cooking and not having to travel always help get some rest well needed.

No way Riley would hire anyone outside of his coaching tree and especially not a big name like Sloan or Phil Jackson
