Is he a free agent next season?? Sounds good, but what we need is a freaking decent center. But ill take Nash too...

Would be fun, but I still need us to win a championship this year.

If he comes here, they better give us the next 2 Championship trophies lol.

But really, he would do loads of good for the development of Cole(assuming his ass isn't traded).

If we got Nash, you'd need to trade Rio or Cole for a center

As one of the first people hyping up Cole (even said we don't need Billups because of Cole before preseason began).. I'll package him and Miller for a first round pick.

We'd be even better with Nash no matter his age. He's almost 40 and the man can run for days on end.

Let's win this year, then add Stevey lol

I'm a huge fan of Nash and would welcome him in Miami, as he delivers the qualities we look for in a PG, except for maybe his defense, but let's not pretend as if we have consistent stoppers at the position right now.

Yeah, there's no use discriminating against Nash because of his defense, because he's better than both of our PG's combined. He doesn't make stupid ass plays either. I'm open for Nash. This thing about his defense, atleast he makes up for it on the offensive end. Nowadays he's been acting like Rondo though, but that's still better than our two PG's. He would sky rocket our offense. Especially if he came off the bench. Cole, I think if we don't see any improvement (he will get playoff time and be showed off to be traded), expect Cole gone if Nash is really interested. We have pieces for a sign and trade which can involve Cole.

But yeah I want to win this year. But it would be cool to have Nash here.

Nash is getting paid 11 mil though... I think if we do a sign and trade with cash, he would be happy to see the Heat giving to Phoenix some pieces because he cares about the Suns.

Guess I'm the only one, but I would not want Steve Nash. I would much rather have someone like Hinrich who can defend the PG position beautifully, and thus take pressure off our help defense in the (likely) event that we cannot get a C.

If however, we could trade a package of Rio/Cole, Miller, and Pittman for a C like Kaman or Dalembert, I'd be very open to it. But even then, I'd still probably prefer Hinrich because as great of a playmaker as Nash is, I don't think that LeBron would thrive with Nash inevitably taking the ball out of his hands.

they could still do a sign and trade right?

there's no way the Heat can just get him straight up for some money, some people would have to go.

Good for us - He wants to win
Bad for us - He wants to get paid his "fair share"

I don't mind that he can't defend. Our PG's are really pissing me off lately. Noticed I have a random gray hair on my head. Thanks Chalmers and Cole.

He isn't going to take "ring chaser" type of money, meaning the vet minimum. He wants a major role (starter playing around 30 mins a game) on a championship caliber team so a fair share would be more like 8mil per for 2 years with ETO the second year.

Just my two cents.

Nash is great but there's no way you give up CB for him.
