Two of the songs I posted in the opening post are very very old. The Robert Johnson song is from 1938 and the Howlin' Wolf one is from 1964. I got stuff older I hear on a daily basis too

I thought the RJ song was older than that... Not too many recordings of him but he ruled.

Who knows how long Howlin' Wolf was performing that song before it was recorded... Another awesome one.

He had two recording sessions one in 1937 and the other in 1938, both in Texas. Yea he did rule, I'm a huge fan of Delta Blues.

Yea this was just a for a small private gig during the American Folk Music Festival that traveled through Europe. In that same video is Son House, Bukka White is around, and Skip James.

Good to know I'm not the only Blues fanatic here. If there's more nearby we all need to jam for the sake of the Blues!

Lady Dae, that woman took my soul when I first heard her music while trying to get my first taste of Jazz not too long ago. I LOVE her voice man, I jam to her music sometimes, as I love the sound of her voice that much.

Beef? No beef, I just think he doesn't appreciate my sarcasm. He puts boldly he was the first to put ALL original artwork. Ooooo ahhhhhh. Anyone who decently knows my posts knows I'm a sarcastic little ****. I didn't appreciate how he just blantantly posted that with a link to it. No one is disputing his skills, it's clear he's got skills in graphics but dude eat some humble pie or STFU. I don't condone that behavior, not when I was a kid in the playgrounds and certainly not now.

Damn you're riled up over him haha

But yea dude is all about himself. His gfx are nice but he's all about LOOK THIS IS WHAT I DID GUYS LOOK.

Like when people were like RS7 is a cool nickname, he was like LOOK I THOUGHT OF IT 2 WEEKS AGO. Then I was like what does that even mean, it's just initials and his number.. he got all pissy haha

Reminds me of The Clash, I'm about to start jumpin.

I've been bumpin' that album at least once a week since its release. Great album by an awesome band!

Exactly bro, that's what I don't like. I was just saying in the last CT thread how I like how humble DD is about his and he's successful at the art (music) he does you know. I've always admired humbled stars and I'm always finding ways to eat my daily dose of humble pie to keep my ego on check. As far as I'm concerned, I haven't done anything that truly merits massaging my own ego.
