Of course he missed it. Why didn't Witt have Nene and Sera in for rebounding?

I guess Crawford sees it as his role to ensure that we lose games,

I'm usually not an advocate for going guard in this draft, but the way Crawford is playing the last few minutes of this game we could definitely use an upgrade.

This team's ability to not win is reminiscent of da Vinci's treatment of the Mona Lisa smile.

You've decided we need to go guard only because of the last few minutes of this game? What about the last 50+ games?

Best player available. Go wing. Go power forward. Go shooting guard.

Too-bad we didn't draft Kemba, this teams needs a guy that can take-over, score, and make plays to closeout. You'll never see Vesely in late in the 4th quarter.

Well with a TS of 46.8 I'd rather not have Kemba taking particularly important shots either but I think he clears the Vesely threshold pretty comfortably.

And if you are asserting that clutch is going on we will have words.

Kemba is a midget chucker. No thanks. Although he would be an upgrade over Mack.

Wall played pretty bad down the stretch. Crawford cannot be the starting sg next year one way or the other.

Good game overall though, and good outcome for THE TANK!

not going to win games with wall playing as bad as he has been the last 4 or 5 games.

he has been complete crap lately. 2 assists and 5 turnovers tonight.

For me, tonight was the sort of the Craw that broke the camel's back, so to speak.

On another note, I've been trying to figure out who is the NBA equivalent of Alex Ovechkin- and I think his name is John Wall. Both guys that put their heads down, try to bull rush their way into traffic and end up getting their pockets picked time after time with the opposition fast breaking the other way. And sadly, both presumed franchise players who just aren't quite stepping up like they should be.

Mack is a trainwreck. The offense just dies when he is out there

Amen to that, he's a total non-impact player.

That was a really bad fourth quarter for Wall

--He missed two consecutive FTs.
--Right after two ridiculously early-in-the shot clock misses by Crawford, instead of setting up the offense Wall did a Larry Hughes-like 1 on or 3 fast break where he charged.
--On yet another one-man break he took a jumper and missed badly. No concept of time or situation is bad for a PG.
--Later, Wall over-penetrated with his head down and after getting defended under the basket John Wall threw the ball all the way in the backcourt.

Crawford is a gunner and I expect dumb stuff from him now. Wall really played poorly. The only other thing that stood out in the fourth was Singleton in for Martin.

Regardless, another loss is good for more ping pong balls.

Kemba isn't efficient playing for the Cats, but at-least he has hit clutch-shots in college and for the Cats. Kemba is going to improve. I would take him over Vesely.

They moved the ball around well for 3 quarters then just fell apart. I think they just start to panic a bit when they have a chance to win.

Another strong defensive performance though. Indy scored only 93 on 39% shooting. Some bad calls by the refs gave them some unearned foul shots. Also the dumb turnovers by the Wizards gave them some easy points.
