i know the media
is there to keep
it real, but how
will fans troop
to the Fieldhouse
with all the bashing
in spite of what is
unarguably an
improved season?

what's Wells' beef? :-?

Collison is a terrible point guard and Granger's not that good of a player anymore and he's never been a real leader. He watches every game like a lot of us, except he's not biased, most of us here are.

It's not his job to bring fans to the arena. His job is to write about what he is seeing out on the court.

are you sure that wasn't you impersonating Wells and JMV? they sure are with you on DC and DG. I'll have to ratchet up my estimated odds of Danny being traded. I'll also have to see if I can get some inside opinions.

Mike Wells hates on Lance too much to be me. But it seemed like he read my posts and decided to pretend to be me on the radio.

Whoever that is, he is being much too optimistic.

The Celtics will be a very hard nut to crack with their experience and since they put KG at center.

I don't care who we play in the first round to be honest. Playoffs will reveal our true colors and we can still make adjustments if necessary.
A first round exit makes it easier to move nice guys who just aren't good enough.

I got no problem with George becoming the face of the franchise, but not at the expense of Granger.

I honestly have had a conspiracy theory for a while that the bandwagon #$@%#%$ fanss believe that by not showing up to games, it will force the Pacers to trade Granger and bring aboard Eric Gordon and the fans will flock back to the fieldhouse and put buts in the seats.

Problem with that theory is that a show is all it will be, not a championship caliber team that can deliver.

Pacers trade Granger there will be NO stability, we traded Jermaine O'Neal when the next best thing came along in Granger and we traded Jalen Rose when the next best thing came along in Jermaine O'Neal. NOBODY will play here as long as we keep repeating that mistake.

Winning will do more for this franchise then any player, even Eric Gordon.

Don't believe me? Check the attendance for the Pacers since 1990, when the Pacers averaged around 12,000 plus fans at Market Square Arena which can hold 16,500. Then they started taking off to the Eastern Conference finals year after year and guess what?

ATTENDANCE WENT UP!!!

Within 5 years the Pacers had to get a bigger place to house all the fans. The Fieldhouse now can house like what 18,000 fans at full capacity?

End story: The Pacers need George to take the lead, but not at Grangers expense. I'm sorry but that's how I feel about this.

Easier said than done.

George his best position to create his shots is SF. Preferably with a SG next to him about as good as Granger or better.

For someone else to take over the lead, the other one often has to go. If they play the same position, it is almost inevitable.

Mike Wells is a joke. It's like he's bitter that he's stuck in Indy and can't cover a big time team. Some of the articles he writes I seriously question whether he even watches the games.

Then we get a significant upgrade at the reserve SG, honestly I'm hoping they turn Lance Stephenson loose, and let George, Granger, and Stephenson occupy 95% of the wing minutes.

It takes 2 wings to fly and you also gotta remember that Danny gets paid 27 million across the next two years. That's a cap burden few teams will give up assets for.
