I don't think La Russa had any influence on Pujols staying at the end. No one in St. Louis including the fans wanted to pay him for how much he demanded. Sucks though, if he stayed and with Wainwright back this season could have been pretty awesome.

It started off in Japan of all places, remembered it from watching Mike & Mike.

I watched both games, and cried in both games.

First game was because Ichiro had 4 hits.
Second game was because Mariners suck balls and lost.

i'm talking about a familiar face with power being there rather than the cardinals situation being left up in the air after la russa left. i'm sure that played a role in, there's no way it couldn't have.

and as far as not paying him, sucks for you guys because he went and found a team that would. and you may have wainwright back, but carpenter's out for a while.
