In a suprising move, Laker coach Mike Brown has named reserve Point Guard Steve Blake as the team's starter for the rest of the season. Announced early Sunday morning, Coach Brown calls the move "necessary" citing Blake's veteran experience as the key reason.
"Steve brings a stability to the position that Ramon just hasn't quite gotten a hold of. He seems to be stuck in search mode and I feel that might be the reason for Kobe's recent struggles."
When asked what mode Blake might be on, Brown had no comment. Blake, a seasoned veteran and three point shooting expert, is shooting slightly above 31% from there.
