Hopefully we'll be at least 2-1 going into the home opener.

Is there any reason why Friday is an off day?

Cleveland requested the day off in advance so they could heal.

A lot of teams do this in case a game is delayed because of weather. I figure teams like the Jays do it when they start at home so that all teams are coming off the same rest going into the next series.

Some people think Cleveland is going to be a contender in the Central this year. I would be satisfied with a 2-1 record.

I'm not sure how you could pick Cleveland before the Tigers but I guess anything is possible.

I'd be happy taking 2 of 3 from the Indians, they have owned us the past couple years in Cleveland, right?

We went 3-1 last year and 3-4 the year before in Cleveland.

Any time you can win a series in baseball against any team (especially a road series), you should be happy.

Masterson and Jimenez vs Romero and Morrow is a wash, the lineups are surprisingly even, the Jays have a much better bullpen but Cecil is gonna get absolutely annihilated in that third game and Derek Lowe is pretty decent so a 2-1 series victory is gonna be a fantastic start to the season.
